MichaeLLLLLLLLL "0-9" ‘Bike’ Hart (douchebag)

I can't wait to see hart in press conferences after TSUN loses.

listening to him say retarded things (like guaranteeing victory over a team that is 0-2 and been outscored 64-17),

put his foot in his mouth (saying scUM never loses 3 times in a year)

or watching his eyes dart around like he just downed a case of redbull is pure entertainment.

He is the best interview since the iraqi information minister

That is very enjoyable. I guess if you're a Hart fan, the good news is there's a really good chance he won't lose a fourth straight bowl game this year.

Say what you will about Michigan.....they're an easy target right now. Mike Hart, on the other hand, deserves no blame for either loss. After watching the Oregon game it's clear to me that he seems to be one of the few (if any) that's really giving an effort and pouring out his heart and soul on the field. I don't care what he says in interviews, and a TO comparison is totally unfair. Forgive the cliche, but Hart gives 110% - EVERY time. And he bleeds maize and blue. He deserves better right now.

bullshit. he's out there "giving 110%" for himself and himself alone.
Oh please. If he were out there for himself and himself alone he'd be doing it for the Carolina Panthers right now instead. The only bullshit I see is the TO comparison. He doesn't go to reporters complaining he doesn't get the ball enough. He doesn't wear pimp coats and five pounds of bling at press conferences. He doesn't do LOOK AT ME touchdown dances after scoring. He doesn't give up on plays that aren't drawn up for him.

Sorry but a senior "leader" doesn't sit on the sidelines riding his bike while his team is getting embarassed by two teams in a row. I don't care if he is banged up (we're all used to seeing that from this crybaby). Then have the nerve to come on the field after 15 minutes of pedal pushing and get in his teammates faces. If the "effort" you are referring to is the fact that he is the only one putting up offensive numbers, I think you need to remember the inferior defenses he's running on. A D-1AA and an Oregon D that gave up an average of 322 yards and 27 points a game last year. Mike Hart is nothing more than a great talent with a big mouth and an even bigger ego. If he could translate that ego into pride, maybe he would act with a little more humility and present the image of a "leader" like he should.

I think you need to remember that Hart has played more than two games in his college career - judging his effort by those two alone seems a little disingenuous. And I think belittling injuries a player suffers, as you seem to be, takes a lot of presumptuousness.

And what ego, exactly, are we talking about? Has he demanded 30 carries a game? Nope. Has he predicted a Heisman for himself? Nope. Has he ever guaranteed 150 yards? Nope. Does he refer to himself in the third person? Pout when he's rested by Brown or Minor? You're basing ego claims on him riding a bike - which he was probably told to do by the coaches in order to stay loose and not reinjure his leg - and (I'm guessing) lingering resentment and hurt feelings over his comments after the game last year. Fairly weak foundation for a claim of being egotistical. Like I said: If Mike Hart was in it for Mike Hart and nobody else, he'd be suiting up Sundays right now.

You have to expect some blind hate towards hart on an OSU site. That isn't always well reasoned
Has he ever guaranteed 150 yards? Nope.
4 tds against OSU next season... well, "probably."
Does he refer to himself in the third person?
He does give himself nicknames.

Long gave up big bucks... the other two sacrifices are a bit overhyped, at least Hart's. Henne would not have been a first rounder last season (but was a potential one next year heading into this season), and Hart is unlikely to go high in the draft (not overly fast, plus some durability concerns).

It's the ego that gave himself the H2O nickname, and the arrogance that made him claim that he could beat OSU if he had another shot. I respect the guy for keeping a positive attitude after the humiliation that he must be feeling, but he ALWAYS takes his comments one step too far into the "cocky prick" territory.

I mean, seriously, who gives himself a nickname??? Are you honestly going to tell me that a humble man is the type of person who does that kind of crap?

And you say "Michigan is an easy target right now" as if we're out of line to laugh at your misfortunes. You do realize that you're on a Buckeye board, right? And you do realize that OSU/Michigan are bitter rivals, right? Hell yeah we're going to laugh at you while you're down. As a matter of a fact, we'll give you a few kicks in the groin while you're down too! I'd expect the same from you ("you" being a generalization for the general wolverine fan population). Actually, I recall being kicked around a few times during Coop's final years. Irony can be a wonderful thing. That's what keeps this the #1 rivalry in all of sports. That's what made last year "The Game of the Century". That's what motivates Hart to come back for his senior year. (I wonder how much he regrets that now).

Meh, other than his mouth, I like Harts game. I hated it when David Boston guaranteed we would beat Michigan just as much as I hated it when Hart said they would beat us in a rematch, it's stupid to say those things and go out on the field. Realistically, Mike Hart is all Michigan has right now, their defense which was supposed to be improved is horrid, the offense seems to have all but given up, so the only person the field playing is Mike Hart.

Do I like the guy? Of course not, he's got that ugly yellow and blue colors on with those stupid winged helmets, so obviously I am not going to be a big supporter, but I will say he does bring all he has to the game. I can't hold those frustrations against him over the past couple games, I mean look at them, one a loss to a AA team and the other an ass-kicking of nuclear proportions to an unranked Oregon team.

All three of those guys are hurting their careers in the NFL, Henne getting hurt this year will make scouts raise eyebrows, and Hart is greatly risking Injury. As for Long, what can I say, if Hart continues to get yards and he can somehow keep Mallet from getting pile driven to the ground repeatidly this season he may still be looking at a decent career, got I hope he doesn't end up in San Diego tho

Now, all of that said, those three came back for one reason in particular, that was to beat the Bucks, and to see all of this happening is going to bring a certain ammount of humor to the scarlet and grey faithful, and scUM fans need to understand that. The Cooper years were HELL for the Buckeyes, their fans and students. It was pretty much the yearly ridicule I was going to suffer in November from everyone I knew, TSUN fans, and the Pac-10 fans I got it from constantly at work.

H2M, you are now on the other side of the stick, I can't say I am sorry in the same way you can't say you didn't enjoy the 13 years of hell the Buckeyes went through. Keep up the fight.
