removed ignorant Miami fan garbage--21
:slappy:

this was my other favorite whine from Cryami fans back in the day. they all think Will Allen was aiming for his knee. because that's how football players think. "This is the biggest game of my life....here comes a player with the ball....if I don't tackle him he might score.....THERE'S HIS KNEE!!!!....I bet if I factor in the wind with pi r squared I could dislodge his kneecap with my helmet....here I goooooooooo"

Changing the subject a bit because it's...

IRRATIONAL FEARS TUESDAY

My top pick: Jacory Harris will be successful airing it out against our DB's. For some (dare I say irrational) reason I feel like there's going to be an uncomfortable number of open receivers in our defensive backfield on Saturday. Solution? More Nate. Here's hoping Nate Williams' return gets our D-line 100% ready to rock, meaning more pressure/devastation on Miami's QB.

I'm a little concerned over this also. Concerned might not be the right word.....I just haven't seen anything to test the secondary so far, and I know our DBs have a propensity to PI instead of turn and see the ball.

Agree, even saw a couple examples against Marshall where they didn't turn and look and gave the Thundering Stonehands a first down.

Look at their highlights of last week. A lot of their TD's were due to the defense being horribly out of position. (Their first TD, no one was covering the WR at all)

Also their O-line barely kept containment for Harris. I'd like to think our D-line is better than FAMU.

Obviously, we need to make sure that the special teams issues are a rarity.
