Just watched Jim Rome is Burning. The Rock had some unflattering things to say about tOSU. I don't have the quote, but Jim Rome had our backs which was a bit of a surprise to me.

ESPN has our backs more than people realize. We're one of Cowherd's favorite programs. And by have our backs, I'm not referring to all their bullshit about us in the past. The last couple years they've been pretty decent toward us.

The Rock needs to stick to making Disney movies.

Look at their highlights of last week. A lot of their TD's were due to the defense being horribly out of position. (Their first TD, no one was covering the WR at all)

Also their O-line barely kept containment for Harris. I'd like to think our D-line is better than FAMU.

Obviously, we need to make sure that the special teams issues are a rarity.

Wrong game...this is the 2009 game. Not last week's.

sorry for the spelling errors and all.. at work, kinda rushing it....as far as trashing your school or me trashing yours, that's not why I came here, looking to see what some knowledgeable fans actually think

While your D line I think is good, again I think we will use the no huddle and roll out harris to counter your pressure... also curious if your guys think your LB's can cover the miami backs out of the backfield....

On D, even seeing you guys have success up the middle, if we can contain Pryor for running, I see us holding you to FG's several times instead of TD's....Hence the score I think of 24-23 us.....

Couple things... first I am glad u guys agreed to schedule us...the only way to be the best is to play the best and a lot of big teams.. cough Florida..cough...are afraid to do that..

i see you guys as a legit top 5 team, so this will be a good measuring stick to see where we really are, I haven't bitten into to this "we are back" thing until we beat some legit teams...

We always seem to play to the level of our competition... for good or for bad..and I expect this week to be no different..I EXPECT THE BEST WE HAVE TO OFFER ON SAT... no excuses, I will be here on Sat after the game good or bad...

If Ohio State is truly a national title contender this year, then this game will be over by the half, and the Buckeyes will cruise to a 20+ point win. Miami is a good team, but Ohio State is supposed to be elite, and this is the kind of game in which elite teams make statements.

This game reminds me of the 2002 Texas Tech game - an up-and-coming team with a "fast" offense and an "elite" quarterback invade The Shoe and get their asses kicked.

Or even the Wazzu game two weeks later, with their "Heisman contender" QB, whose offense mustered a whole 7 points against our defense.

Yeah, Rome said that "The 'U' will never be the 'U' again, but it was nice to see flashbacks." He also basically said that Ohio State is a proven program and has to be beaten on the field, not trashed vocally to prove anything against them.]

Nicely done Rome.

It's ok, I've said some pretty unflattering things about his movies.

I'll just say this about your offense vs. our defense. I have complete faith in our front seven. Our secondary is still a little iffy IMO. But our LBers are always good, and this year is/will be no exception. Our d-line has enough depth that we should be fresh all game. And the scary thing about our d-line is that we have some backups who are just as disruptive as the first-teamers.

I think you'll be surprised at how little TP will try to run. He's pass-first. We'll definitely run with him more than we ran him against Marshall, but I think if we have success up the middle the game is over. If Saine and Herron are running well, Pryor won't need to.

I honestly think we're a better team where it matters most - offensive line, defensive line, running game. I think Miami is going to have to play one hell of a game to beat us at home.

Welcome to the forums, I look forward to a great game and I hope people like you who actually want to talk about the game stick around after it's over, win or lose. :)

I think Road Warrior Animal and The Rock need to settle this in the ring before kickoff.
