Game Thread Miami (FL) at tOSU, Sat Sep 11, 3:40 ET, ESPN

Really impressed with the way Brandon Harris spoke in his interview. Telemaque didn't seem to want to recognize the fact that we might have players/team better than theirs. Forston laid back...McCarthy seems kind of just there. Maybe not a lot upstairs, but then again he could be a genius. Just a quick take on the interviews. Worth watching IMO.

Gatorcountry has a thread with an informal poll: Pull for Canes or Buckeyes Saturday?

Majority of the board is rooting for the Buckeyes when I last read it.

I can just imagine a Canes/Buckeye thread on Gatorcountry. Where did "Die in a fire" and "I've got a colonoscopy scheduled that afternoon" rank?

"As for the crowd we practice this atmosphere we have the facilities to get used to the crowd" - Brandon Harris

HAHAHA

Yeah ... Canes are used to playing in front of 105,000.

I dont know if it is just me or what, but i have the same feeling that i had in 2006! Only scUM isn't worth damn and i think we all don't have that bullet proof attitude that we did back then! I have a gut feeling that this may be the year of the VEST!:osu:

Wait until the first sack and Harris gets a taste of the crowd.... they won't be able to hear jack shit. Especially Heyward and Big Dex rolling through.

edit: By the by, Miami better find a semblance of a ground game. You will not make your living against this defense with no threat of a run - the DE's will pin their
ears back, the DT's will get push and the smart money will say Harris ends up on his ass more then a few times.

Due to an unfortunate event this past week, I shall be (mostly) beardless for this game.

I guess I'm asking for a general absolution from the football Gods...

Left the guard off the trimmer? I hate it when I do that.

I think the talent level of this team is similar to the 06 squad. This team has more experience on D, and is not quite as explosive on O (Ginn and Gonzo are hard to beat), but maybe more balanced overall. My first thought when I read your post was that no bullet proof attitude is probably a good thing. I don't want the team thinking they can't be beat. I want this team to have the attitude of the 2002 team.

I couldn't agree more! I want them to feel like the under dogs! I want them to feel like they have to prove themselves every down! I want them to play with that chip on their shoulder like they did last year in the Rose Bowl! I want them to want this more than anything they have every wanted in their lives! I want the VEST to coach like a rabid pit bull and go for the jugular every second of every snap! I want to be in Glendale at the end of the year! I want to walk out of Horseshoe West with the greatest feeling in the world! The feeling of MY BUCKEYES being the NATIONAL CHAMPIONS again!:oh:
