Mark Sanchez (Philadelphia Eagles)

I never doubt you, but I'm 99% Washington pulled that shit last year...then did both do so?

Yep, both of them did it. HH was pretty pissed off about McClover. I'll quit hijacking this thread but If I can find the thread on here I'll bump it.

You're not hijacking the thread by talking about past recruiting deceptions, seeing as some folks are concerned that a Sanchez commitment may not stick (which I think it would). As always, you bring up good points.

Hadn't heard about that one before. Did Diggs literally use the schollie reserved for Price or was he just in the same class?
I don't know about the origin of Diggs scholarship, but the reason why he signed is just as interesting. Diggs' sister was married to the USC basketball coach-whomever it was after george raveling-. Anyway, right before signing day, Mr. Hoops Coach gets canned by the Trojans, and Diggs' sister says-no way in hell are you signing w/ the Trojans-voila-instant Buckeye

Apparently S. Helwagen talked to a player close to the MV situation (maybe R. Williams) and his news is positive, which he posted in the premium board. Although I still see MS going to SC, I guess the chances are better now.

EDIT: Apparently Helwagen talked to Bemoll, who said he was OSU bound and so is MS FWIW.

I don't put much stock in what Helwagen says. He's been wrong too many times for me. When Kurelic says he's tOSU bound I'll tend to believe it.

This site is AWESOME :banger:

So that is the premium stuff that Helwagen had. He spoke to Bemoll and Bemoll has him and Sanchez coming to OSU!?!?!?!?

Well, wasn't he the one that had the :wink2: when he wrote about Dwayne Jarrett this past recruiting season? I cancelled my premium after that. I guess we'll see. That would be unbelievable though.

I'll be happy with either Sanchez or Schoenhoft, but man it'd be nice to get one out of Cali that Pete really wants.

I would tend to agree with Cox, two recruits from Cali, one is down to tOSU and Miami, the other is down to tOSU and the anual recruiting champion of all time. I will optimistically go with the common denominator.

All due respect to <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><ST1:pGary</ST1:p, when he said that Jarrett would be a Buck it’s because he had committed. As stated earlier in this thread it wasn’t until signing day he pulled the switch. It’s hard to fault Gary or any "Guru" when stuff like this happens.<O:p</O:p

As far as Steve’s post all he said is that Bemoill will decide between OSU and <ST1:pMiami</ST1:p this week and it looked good for OSU.<O:p</O:p

He also stated that Bemoill told him that MS was deciding between OSU and UT, USC wasn’t in the picture.<O:p</O:p

He then stated a full update would be up this morning.<O:p</O:p

Gary, when posting about Fred Davis' impending commitment to the scarlet and gray posted "Never underestimate the power of a wink." While Gary was right about a lot of recruits, most notably Rory Nicole and Kyle Mitchem, he got burned hard last year a couple of times. I can't really blame him though, he was deliberatly mislead by the recruits themselves.
