The USC basketball coach that got canned was Charlie Parker. I went to college with him at Findlay, so there was a bit of an Ohio connection even there.
Think what you want to think about Steve H ... However, If you play this game long enough, you're going to get burnt. I don't hold the Jarrett deal over him as something wrong with Steve's info.
If I recall, Mc Clover came from somewhat obscurity to visiting OSU, to commiting almost on the spot. As a month or so went by, he went from being a soft verbal, to according to alot of people being an Arburn lean. He was one quarter of the disappointing signing day the spawnned a bunch of goofball threads on Tressels recruiting short falls.
But Bemoll said the field has been narrowed even closer: “It’s down to Texas and Ohio State for Mark. He’s not thinking about SC. If Mark tells me he is going to Ohio State, I would commit there as well. It would be neat if all three of us went to Ohio State.”.......from the Insiders
I'm telling ya, he's a Buck. Bemoll is as good as signed with OSU. I can't see anyone like Sanchez who is that close to his teammates going somewhere like Texas when you have 2 other teammates going to OSU.
I hope so also Goof, but I was referring to USCGuru who claimed he had some inside scoop and Texas was already out. My skepticism comment was not about Sanchez but more about his info. I think the discussion is a few pages back...
Steve and Duane are a little more reliable then Gary. Gary is a great guy and I believe he works the hardest of any of the insiders, but the problem I have with Gary is that he is a little naive. He has been in this game long enough that he should know better. He always goes by what the recruit tells him directly and doesn't consider the angle. He also had us in on James Bryant late in the recruiting process where others knew better. Bryant was one of those guys that told people what they wanted to hear, others could see that, Gary did not.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

I still like Gary and his updates, but I have to take them with a grain of salt.
