Mark Sanchez (Philadelphia Eagles)

bkb: 3 star and ranked 75th WR in the country, AND out of Florida. Go figure, right? May be your 3 star DE Ryan Williams will become as formidable as Mike.

I have to admit that I will be disappointed if MS does not commit, but there is another angle that I haven't seen mentioned (at least not all together.)

Even if we got a verbal from MS, USC won't back off recruiting him. He's in their backyard for pete's sake (no pun - well, yeah pun intended). The worse scenario I can imagine. We get a verbal from MS, RS commits to UM, then MS backs out of the commitment later. We miss out on both guys, one ends up in scUM north the other USCum west.

In a way, it'd be almost better to get the bad news now then February.

MililaniBuckeye - I would hope not, but the pressure would be immense until he's signed. They always say that those that want to go out of state wait to announce so they don't have to hear it from everyone for the next 7 months. Maybe I am still jaided over the whole Irizarry saga from a couple of years ago.

Bucknutty - thx for the welcome. I enjoy the site.

LJB: Davis never committed, and at least the other two didn't wait until NLOI day to pull a stupid-assed stunt.

Tbuck: I think its safe to assume that Sanchez is of somewhat higher moral character than Irizarry.
