Mark Sanchez (Philadelphia Eagles)

I left a post for rdsbuck on bucknuts asking for a clarification. Hopefully, he did not interpret my question as a flame and he will respond. I still feel rdsbuck knows a lot more about this subject than most. The fact that the mega-thread on BN was deleted, would seem to me that too much pertinent information was been "leaked out". After the fact, rdsbuck re-appeared saying the "rumor about my banning was greatly exaggerated".

USCguru:

I may be asking for too much, and if so, you don't need to reply. However, on all the USC boards, premium or private, 85 to 90 % of posters seem to think that MS is headed to USC.

Personally, I don't have the slightest idea, but are you in a position to know "exactly" about this decision, or are you simply speculating as to the ultimate outcome of this matter based on your analysis of the events?

By the way, are you a SC grad?

I'd put a 10 spot on Sanchez coming to OSU along with Bemoll. It just seems like he was waiting to see what USC had to offer and he was very poinant in saying that the depth chart there doesn't play into his favor at all, vs., OSU and Texas. I don't think for a minute he's going to Texas, so in my head, it's OSU or USC. With Bemoll obviously leaning towards OSU, you have to think Sanchez is doing the same. It's been my experience that teammates will always join eachother at the next level if they have everything in place to do that.

holy crap, I didn't realize when I said I'd bet something there really would be somewhere to put this bet..crazy

JC, he was pretty up front about USC's heavy depth chart at QB. Few recruits state something like that then end up going there.

alright, I put my 10 down on Sanchez. Here's to California

The thing about USC's depth chart is that it's not going to stay that way, or so it seems to me. By that I mean, if I'm the #3 guy there, I'm going to start thinking about a transfer. On the other hand, as a recruit, you can't really bank on that...

Tough choice for the guy, so it seems. Good news, however.... my son is 2 and in 16 years he will verbal to OSU. Actually, Tress goes to the same church as me (when I go) Maybe my boy will verbal on Sunday.

"reading comprehension"--ever heard of it?? my post said that the call from KB had NOTHING to do with Mark's ultimate decision--i DID NOT say that the call had nothing to do with recruiting

Sanchez himself says Bemoll called him asking him not to make a decision until they talked. I would say that has a great deal to do with Sanchez's final decision. But hey whatever, reading comprehension :roll1:

Goofy: Unfortunately for us, it looks as if Mark Sanchez is Pete's #4 guy.

bkb: Rocky Hinds was the #1 QB on the west coast his junior year, before he suffered an enjury that kept him out the entire year. As I've mentioned before, I'd like to get MS, but I am very satisfied with the QBs we presently have, FOR THE MOMENT. As far as Leinart decision to stay for a 5th year, I also remember Mike Williams saying something very similar to that, and you know what happened.
