Boeckman Stats
2007: 191/299, 2379 Yards, 25 TDs, 14 INTs
2008: 30/45 297 Yards, 2 TDs, 0 INTs
Total: 221/344, 2676 Yards, 27 TDs, 14 INTs

Sanchez Stats
2007: 69/114, 695 Yards, 7 TDs, 5 INTs
2008: 26/35, 338 Yards, 3 TDs, 1 INT
Total: 95/149, 1033 Yards, 10 TD, 6 INTs

Granted, Sanchez was a backup last year and Boeckman has about 2.3x 'more stats' than him, but if you take all of Boeckman's numbers x 2.3, you get the following for Sanchez's "projected" stats....

218.5/342.7, 2375.9 Yards, 23 TDs, 13.8 INTs

Not saying Sanchez isn't a good QB, but he isn't as "great" as everyone makes him out to be and there isn't much difference between him & Boeckman when it comes to stats. I'll take Boeckman's experience any day of the week over Sanchez.

Anyway.....back to Mark 'The Tool' May

I think it's worth noting that Sanchez's stats are padded by the two truly horrible teams he's started against (ND 07- 4TD/0INT; UVA 08- 3/1). Without those games, he's got more INTs than TDS.

Oh yeah, Mark May is a douchenozzle. One of the reasons I don't miss having cable.

Mark May is of no more relevance than the drooling retard 13 year old SEC fans (sorry Gator and Nutria et. al but it's true) that invade places like SECSportsline and those easy as hell to navigate ESPN boards.

Seriously sometimes I think the worst thing to happen to College Football is the widespread availability of the internet in the SEC-dominated areas of the country. That's all that May spews - exactly what the retarded juvenile SEC fans who chant S-E-C after beating crappy teams like NC State spew.

It would be one thing if he actually were a good analyst, but also biased. He's not, though. He's a terrible analyst prone to gross hyperbole AND he's very biased. It's kind of funny, when people say "ESPN hates my team", they're almost universally referring to Mark May. Most of the other analysts they have seem to push aside their biases (Herbstreit picking against the Bucks, for example), but not May. How he still has a job is beyond me.

Because CFB Fanatics like us will tune in to hear the stupid things he says so we can then discuss his idiocy on our sweet message board later on. duh!
