You're saying Boeckman is a better QB than Sanchez? I love Boeckman as much as the next non-bucknuts member, but give credit where it's due. Sanchez is an excellent QB.I thought it wass funny when he compared the QB's. Holtz busts out "IT WAS VIRGINIA!!!!" I mean c'mon givin Sanchez the nod over a man who took over a team in a "rebuilding"year and led them to a National Championship appearence. Boeckman has proven he has the skills. He may not be all flashy and such but I seem to remember a molecular genetisist guy we had a few years back that wassnt all flash and seemed to do pretty well :-) I really don't think Mark even watches the game. Just because you played it doesn't make you an expert on it.

I don't recall who did the breakdown (Mike Mayock?), but he pointed out a slew of flaws with Sanchez. Poor timing, poor footwork, poor accuracy, poor reads...listening to Mayock, you'd have thought Sanchez played the worst game ever. The point he was making is that Sanchez got away with some really questionable stuff because 1) he has a ton of talent around him and 2) UVA stinks. He seemed to think thatSanchez was the biggest liability USC had going into the game.
