  • Marion is rolling to another state title in 2022. They have outscored their opponents 381-30. They had a 3 shutout steak in a row and a 4 game shutout streak in a row. Every team on their schedule made the playoftfs. They handed 3 teams their only loss by a combined scored of 98-7. I would hate to be in their way. They are going to roll to the 2022 title. I'd be shocked if anyone came with 4 TDs of them.

2023 Marion Local. Total. Fucking. Dominance

They have played (and won) all four of their playoff games by a total score of 308-7

Yes, you read that right - 308-7

Ansonia, a team that was 13-1 and crushing people in their own right got bitch slapped 48-0. I would not bet against Marion if THEY WERE PLAYING ANY OTHER DIVISION TEAM STILL ALIVE. That include Massillon, St. Eds, Hoban, Watterson. They are just unreal.

With this type of domination, would they ever be forced to move up in divisions? Or is the school just too small to move up?

They bounce back and forth between D VI and D VII. It hasn't mattered; of their 13 football State titles, 8 have been in D VI. (4 have been in D VII, and one cam in D V - back on 2007.)

Edit... found this info on enrollment:

Right now, they're 4 boys under the threshold (108 out of 112).
