I think Lou has far too much personal integrity to make it in congress. He may be a complete homer (and a little dim) buts he's not a lying, thieving sack of despicable monkey shit....I just don't see how he'll fit in.

Sho, he wouldn't be shucsheshful in Congresh?

No but the thought of the Republicans sending him to the Senate floor with a stack of Dr Suess books to read for a filibuster would make me look up what channel C-Span is on Direct TV.

Hey, if they can put the Governator into office, Jesse "The Body" Ventura, Ronald Reagen, and Sonny Bono...Holtz could do it. Lou's a disciplined guy, but overall I don't think he'd be a good fit for Congress eitiher. Politics is a dirty game.

He can play dirty - he coached in the SEC and has the trail of NCAA violations to prove it.

There were a lot of NCAA violations against SC while Lou was there, but less than half can be attributed as something under Lou's control, ie himself or his staff. The only major one was related to a staff member of Lou's and that was the Strength and Conditioning coach holding mandatory workouts before the season started. The rest of the violations were minor, they were self reported by Lou or someone in the staff, and some were pretty ridiculous.

I don't know about any of the programs before ND, and the only one I know of there was the Dunbar incident, can't really blame Lou for that one. When all is said and done, the violations Lou was responsible for obviously weren't bad enough to hurt his induction into the Hall of Fame time wise, so I think generally people regard them as trivial.

He's sounding more and more like a politician by the moment.

This guy is officially off his fucking rocker. He called Nevada a "great defense", ND a "great team" and Jimmah a "great QB". Dementia is a sad, sad thing...especially when you have to watch it play out on live television.

eh its not the first time hes given a hypothetical or actual motivational speech to an ohio state team...

That would explain why they needed all those renovations to the locker room...the walls and lockers weren't waterproofed properly...
