Look Who's Transferring Now (The Portal)

OSU is, we just don't have as many holes as fans think. And Day isn't going to just sign guys that he doesn't think will fit the program.
Also, bare in mind, that the Portal window after the season may have even better talent. And that's if Day sees holes that can't be filled with talent already on the roster. OSU has averaged top 5-10 recruiting classes, and scUM's classes are usually in the teens or 20s, so makes sense why they're hitting the Portal so hard.

This is the bridge QB until Raiola hits campus in Nebraska

The Big 10 has a way of doing business that seems restrained compared to the South..the most interesting change is will USC conform to the Big 10 or will they keep their aggressive attitude to the portal and NIL.
It seems like the B1G has always had their own "gentleman's agreement" that the SEC never gave a damn about. The SEC will eat their own, they remind of a family who will fight all outsiders to the death if they talk about their family. But internally they all seem to hate one another, but the mid tier and bottom feeders are quick to claim conference solidarity when the top 2-3 teams win it all

Totally agreed. I think we'd be wise to maybe address the lower rated kids on the team.

Sort of like NCAA 2014... if you have a kid that's rated 70 as a freshman then go get a junior thats an 85. Sure long distance maybe that 70 is a 87-89 but there's no replacement for the present. I'm not saying force anyone out either btw. I'm saying add kids If they're good and let everything sort itself out.

Oh, conversations will be had! I didn't want to name names, but pretty much I was insinuating that after the season's over, the CFP teams will also be hit with attrition. There's no way that OSU only loses 3 players to the Portal. I'll just say this, if you're entering 2+ years and haven't seen significant PT, then the Portal shouldn't be a surprise.
