 He was wearing a buckskin jacket and a white straw hat covered his short redish hair. The last stand print that several beer distributors put out had him in full military regalia with flowing golden locks.

He was a Michigan Man, headed up a group calling itself the "Michigan Vulvarines' or some such name.

He needed linemen at the battle but chose to go with slot backs. Like I said, a W*lv*r*n*.

And I remember at least one of them couldn't even tie his own shoes....

Absolutely, Custer was on a mission for glory. It drove him to many stupid decisions. He sacrificed many tactical advantages for speed and audacity any number of which, including bringing along his automtic weapons, would have or could have changed the outcome of the battle.

Sure. Let's just ignore the facts. The man was an arrogant idiot who was thinking of becoming President and lost any reasoning he might have had.
It's called delusions of grandeur. It's psychotic. Military leaders who screw up that badly and survive are removed in disgrace. As he would have been had he some how survived. Reno and Benteen performed admirably that day and the next.

Wow you are a dumb [censored]. Did you see that, it was the point flying way over your head. But please, continue to tell me about the military and command. You are obviously qualified.

So, to sum up:

Custer is no hero. If he did have a technological bris and accepted the A-Bomb for use on that day, he might indeed have killed 1,000,000 Japanese and become president. However, in the process, he would have destroyed Little Bighorn National Monument, which is a national treasure.
