In all seriousness, I have to question how Tim Floyd can ever get another job in college. Thad Matta gave up on OJ Mayo completely pretty early on (summer 2005, when Mayo was a HS Soph) once it became obvious that OJ was toxic. This was a kid with tremendous talent right in Matta's backyard, and Matta didn't want to touch him. One could argue Floyd was either naive, negligent, stupid, or desperate, but I don't think there's an argument that it would be a very bad hire.

Yeah, that's about how I feel about the idea.

I'm all for second chances and whatnot, but he's pretty toxic.

Billy Glide, with all his (drunken) baggage, would seem to be a safer bet.

Take your pick of either of the two coaches in tonights MAC Championship game:

Geno Ford or Keith Dambrot. Geno has done a great job at my Alma--Mater
and Keith coached that dude that used to wear #23 for the Cavs in High School.

Both are solid. Not a ton on their resumes, but are great coaches. Here's an early prediction, without seeing an NCAA Tourney bracket because it comes out tomorrow. TAKE AKRON against WHOEVER they play. Just a hunch
