Seriously.....yes cramps suck we all know this

But LeBron having to be carried off the court like a baby because of them is cemented as one of the biggest bitch made moments in sports history.

I don't disagree. Coming back to Cleveland for "unfinished business" might be the only exception to that. I don't think he really cares if people call him a mercenary as long as his team wins rings and he doesn't have to be the leader. Miami is done as a title contender unless something crazy happens.

I could also see a lot of people bagging him for it - like he's trying TOO hard to get back in everyone's good graces.

LeBron cares immensely about his legacy. He WANTS to be Jordan, and I think he thinks he still can be. I also think he knows him hopping from city to city to accumulate rings will hurt him in people's eyes in terms of his legacy. As such, I don't think he leaves Miami. I think they start looking for a smarter way to put better parts around them. The Cleveland thing remains a pipe dream. I do think it's possible he ends up there someday, but it'll be near the end of his career when he feels his overall legacy is cemented and returning "home" can be a nice curtain call.

Besides getting young stars to take half what they are worth on the open market I don't see what Miami is going to be able to do to put together the pieces they need to be dominate. Hire the guy that finds players for the Spurs?

I think it would also kill Lebron's legacy if he takes the league min in order for his team to be able to sign other players. Lebron will never be Jordan because he doesn't have the killer instinct. Nothing will change that other than a brain transplant. Cleveland's biggest problem was they they were never able to find good young players late in the draft and most of the FA's never panned out. The Spurs are really the only example of how to build and rebuild without missing a step.

I think the exact opposite. It would show he was committed to that team/city and was willing to make sacrifices. Doesn't matter, because the PA wouldn't let him take a massive paycut. What they need is for Wade to opt-out then resign for substantially less. He's a second tier 2 guard at this point, and isn't worth 60% of what he's due. I think they'd be better off without gay cowboy dinosaur as well. They need an inside post presence and better PG play.

They need to get big in the middle. Anderson and Haslem got destroyed all series against Duncan and Tiago Splitter? That can't happen if you're going to win a title. If they can get these guys to take less money and somehow sign a Marc Gasol. That would instantly put them right back at the top. It seemed like a waste to sign Oden and then never even throw him out there to see if he could slow down the inside onslaught at some point.

I'm sure Wade will be more than happy to leave 40-50 mil on the table to resign for what he is actually worth. Bosh isn't getting 20 mil resigning someplace else, but might be able to con someone into giving him 15 for 5 years. This is the time for Lebron to sign a deal for max money/max years since his skills are only going to go down. I just can't see him putting that kind of faith in the Heat to rebuild while paying him 20 mil a year. He needs to find someplace that has players around him because they won't be able to add good young players after he comes in.
