Which one of those championship losses was it that Jordan was completely outplayed by some young kid no one ever heard of?

This team was/is a spitting image of when LeBron had with the Cavs. Defensively both teams were pretty close, and both teams were loaded with average to below-average talent. Bosh and Wade played average at best in the finals, and if Miami signs Wade for the 20 mil it looks like he will be asking for, LeBron will probably bolt. Yes, Wade has played his entire career in Miami, but he was one of the main reasons Miami got shell-shocked in this years finals. Bosh may re-sign for less which is the only way Miami should keep him.
I wouldn't be surprised if Miami makes a serious run at Kevin Love. Having a young big guy who consistently pulls down 15-20 boards a game is exactly what the Heat need. Miami just needs to fill out their front court, preferably with some veterans, because as of now I could see a starting lineup that looks like this:
PG - Chalmers
SG - insert a veteran
SF - James
PF - Love
C - Bosh
After this year's Finals you will be able to sign Chalmers for a box of toothpicks. Dumping Wade will free up about $20 million, which a good chunk of that can be used for the Love signing. I think Ray Allen has 2 years left and he is perfect coming off the bench.
Ahh. Well, in that case, he'd be dumb not to opt in. Looks like the Heat are stuck with him barring a miracle.FYI, Wade making $20M with the Heat next year (and the year after) is his decision, not the team's. He gets to choose whether to exercise the early termination option this year, and then whether to pick up the player option in 2015-16.

I can't think of any reason why LBJ would want to stay. Way too many young teams who are just one superstar away from serious contention.
See what I wrote a few posts back. LeBron is very concerned with his legacy, and I'd wager acutely aware that changing teams again would make him a "mercenary" in many people's eyes. If he wants to end up on the same level as Jordan, Bird, Johnson, etc. his best bet is staying put. The Heat are an aging team, but Bosh still has a few years in his tank, and I think he could give them more if used more intelligently than as a 6'11 perimeter player. I just don't think he's going anywhere because of the above. If he does, I'll point and laugh at the Heat "fanbase" and ridicule him as a merc, but I don't think it's gonna happen.
LeBron, Bosh, and Wade are all set to make $20 million this year. That being said, I don't think it's totally unlikely that Wade and LeBron opt out, and then are able to peer pressure Bosh into opting out as well. It would be a move entirely based on winning, and it would require both Wade and Bosh to give up on their last big payday. Wade is done and isn't worth more than $5 million a year, and Bosh could probably make a decent salary elsewhere, but not $20 million. The talk is that LeBron should put his faith in Pat Riley, but as it stands now there's nothing Riley or anyone else can do. This team fell apart long before Riley thought they would.
I think LeBron's best move is either in New York or Cleveland. Teams like LA have the money to sign LeBron, but nothing else on the roster. You know Phil Jackson will have a title contender in a few years, and LeBron would expedite that greatly. Meanwhile the Cavs will have Kyrie Irving, a decent supporting cast, and the best prospect in the draft, be it Embiid or Wiggins. I've spent years trying to tell myself not to think about the possibility of LeBron returning - I even wanted them to tank this season for a chance at Wiggins just so they'd have something when LeBron didn't come back. Somehow they wound up with the number one pick anyway, and LeBron's best choice is now in Cleveland.
Miami isn't winning anything with the team they have, and LeBron is smart enough to stay in the pathetic Eastern Conference. If I had to guess I'd say he won't opt out this year, and he'll likely stay with Miami long-term, but there is nothing there for him anymore. He'd be lucky to get even one more title on the sinking ship that is the Miami Heat.
