Lebron James (Los Angeles Lakers)

Not at all a fan of the man's character or past decisions...but he was flat-out amazing this year.

I don't like that he has a ring, but he earned it.

The Miami role players were more important than the 'Big 3'

Lebron did what great players do...he made his supporting cast better.
It sucks but can't agrue with any of that, LeBron was phenominal all playoffs long. He got the role players open looks and to their credit they knocked a ton of shots down, especially in the Finals.

I think these playoffs proved to everyone he is a much better power-forward than SF.

It's impossible to defend the Heat when he plays the 4 b/c of the shooters you can put on the court. It creates so much space for him and he becomes so much more efficient at the rim.

[censored]. ALL. OF. THIS.

I look at it this way...

Consider what Cleveland did for LeBron. He's a [censored]ing basketball player. That's it. And he makes millions of dollars to do so because fans (like the ones in Cleveland) PAY HIM. Without the fans he isn't nothing but another dumb ignorant son of a bitch getting kicked in the teeth by the real world.

I guess you can say that about any person that works for a living. Who's really supporting who? Without workers, basketball players, employers and fans would have no business, no entertainment. It's really a dumb point to say that he'd be nothing without the fans, when in reality it's HIS hard work that brings the fans in. People don't come to watch unentertaining things. If Lebron wasn't as good and dynamic of a player Cleveland would never have made as much money when he was there.

What exactly did lebitch do for Cleveland? Last I checked
We still have the same amount of titles pre & post era.

He brought in a lot of money for the city and team when he was there.

Christ, you're probably one of those assholes who cheers for Michigan even though they live in Columbus because it's "edgy" aren't you?

no. Trust me, I get why people are upset, but it's a little overboard. All I'm saying. I'd have loved him to represent ohio and have won a title with cleveland just as much as anyone else but what's done is done and in the end he's still a kid from Ohio and I'm happy he won a title.

except for when you uttered this completely opposite post echoing the heartache and bitterness that you are simultaneously criticizing.

not sure anyone has mentioned this, but the thing that stings the most to me is losing out to florida again. Indians vs Marlins, Buckeyes vs gators '06 title game basketball and football, sharrif floyd to florida over ohio state...

Lebron choose a florida team over an ohio team and went out an won a title there. Did we do something to florida in the past to deserve such punishment from their sports teams?

I know what you mean. Ohio kid Trey DePriest just won a title with my favorite team, the Alabama Crimson Tide. I was super psyched about that.

As long as the ohio kid isn't competing against the buckeyes or your favorite ohio team, why not be happy for them? Lebron doesn't owe the state of ohio his basketball career.

You tell me, you claimed it stung, though I have my doubts about that. I think you're very bad at baiting.

Why did it sting, if it shouldn't?
