Ummm I said that further down.....I was trying (badly I guess) to illustrate how insanely stupid The Trollverler comparing LeBald/Cleveland to Urban Meyer/Florida is and how it completely doesn't compare in any shape or form.

FWIW, the only Cleveland team I care about is the Browns and I only picked that up when I moved to Ohio because I didn't like what Modell did to the city. What did Cleveland do in 1996? Eliminate the Orioles. They don't have a hockey team in the NHL. I'm much like OH10, I don't care so much for the NBA as I do to see it fail and to see scum like LeBald continue to flail away at getting to whatever potential he probably think he has. Now it's more of an apathy thing, I still don't care for the NBA, it's still fun to talk about how horrible/how fixed the refereeing is and how the league's overall play continues to decline from an all-time peak in the early 90s.

Because you keep saying there's no merit to the hate.

He went from loved around the league to hated around the league. He's boo'd everywhere. Cavs fans don't fill other teams' arenas. Everyone fucking hates him. It's not unwarranted, so stop telling people who hate him and have explained why that their reasoning isn't good enough for you.

I can't discredit what he did during this playoff run. I'm not trying to, either. He was fantastic. But he's done nothing to make me like him. He's only done things to make me dislike him.

Lebron has a ring. Lebron has MVP's. Lebron has amazing talent. Lebron has endorsement millions. But...Lebron has no heart, no character, no "warrior will", and no respect from me. The NBA is an empire in decline.

He's a front runner, always has been. His struggles have been over-hyped and cheap. Never really faced anything harsh, other than Delonte West. Lol. At the end of the day, the best thing I can say of any man is, "I'd go into combat with him", and I would not go into combat with Lebron James. True story.

The decline of the NBA, is about more than ratings. It's about trajectory, spirit, and atmosphere. The NBA today is inundated with a cast of pampered posers, pussies, and punks. He's just has the highest profile of the "Triple P Posse". I SINCERELY hope that Kevin Durant dominates the next 10 years of the NBA.

I could write a book on this shit.

I'd probably call the book: "How the AAU Circuit Ruined the NBA".

The spirit of the game is not the same. The talent is there, the ratings are there, the interest is there, but the competitive spirit is gone.

And LeBron is the face of that lack of spirit. When he teamed up with other super-stars in Miami and showed he wasn't interested in being a competitor like MJ, Magic, Bird he showed his true colors. And that is what people hate.

But LeBron is from a different generation where ballers join the hottest AAU teams and become friends over-night with every other player. Championships aren't as important as being a skilled person that makes crazy amounts of paper. It's sad. But AAU basketball has changed the best basketball players in the world, into kids with agendas by the time they are 16.

I love all this "Lebron showed the haters" routine. All of us Cleveland knew that he was capable of winning a title. Lebron was, really, his own biggest hater because he never thought himself capable. That's why he ran down South to join another man's team - only to find out that if he really wanted to win, he had to make it his team. It was never his plan to have to carry the team like he did through these playoffs. He could have done that in 2010. He consciously chose to quit in order to create an "out." It's one of the more pathetic incidents in modern sports history.
