One can only hope that is a sign of something to come in Cleveland. I don't have a clue how we pull that off before Paul's free agency, but stranger things have happened.

gee.....ya think?

I haven't even commented on this for that very reason--it is obvious we created this monster. Don't give the networks more credit than they deserve, especially ESPN. Their parent company hasn't had original programming since Lost. They are merely catering to the demand of their audience. This is the biggest topic in sports right now, and we're blowing it way out of proportion so they are feeding in to it.

Lawyer sues basketball star LeBron James, alleging he is his father

Washington (CNN) -- A Washington lawyer has filed a lawsuit in federal court, claiming he is the father of basketball star LeBron James.

Leicester Stovell alleges that the athlete and his family have been involved in a cover-up to deny paternity by committing fraud and misrepresentation.

The lawsuit claims Stovell met James' mother, Gloria, in a Washington bar and restaurant in 1984, where she was visiting from Ohio. She was 16 at the time, Stovell says, and they had sex only once.

What are the odds he's countered with a statutory rape charge?

Best part of that article:
Public records show Stovell is a former government attorney with the Securities and Exchange Commission. He filed a lawsuit in 2002 against the agency, alleging racial discrimination. Federal court records show the case was settled when the commission paid him $230,000, while not admitting fault.

You've just eliminated 20% of your pool. That aside, name the other top 10 player on any of the following teams:

2010 Lakers-kobe and a couple of other of those guys are top 50 type players gasol, etc
2009 Lakers-probably the best example but still a very deep team.
2006 Heat-shaq/wade
1995 Rockets
1994 Rockets
rockets-clyde and the hakeem

then again id say the spurs had duncan/robinson along with some solide role players.

personally i look back at the last 50 or so years to the coaches and see more of a connection to titles there...

This cannot be understated. Look at how the Cavs ran through the last two seasons, but when he actually had to coach in a seven game series against teams they couldn't "out-talent", Mr. Potatohead was pantsed...once by an overweight pornstar lookalike.

One overlooked aspect of this whole thing:

Eric Spoelstra had better watch his cornhole. You can bet Pat Riley plans to coach this team before it's all said and done, and Spoelstra's gonna find himself out of a job just like Ron Jeremy was.
