Lebron James (Los Angeles Lakers)

The only negative thing I could see coming out of the whole Bosh to Miami thing is that it's possible that LeBron thinks that because Miami is now such a formidable opponent, he has to go to Chicago (which has a better supporting cast than Cleveland) for a better chance to win an NBA title. Also, for those saying NY Knicks, I've never thought that they (or the Nets or Clippers, for that matter) had a real chance. As I said this morning before the Bosh to Miami news broke, this is a two-horse race between Cleveland and Chicago.

Chicago only has one player that I would consider better than what the Cavs have to offer. I would rather have Andy and JJ than Bizzaro Andy. Besides Bizzaro and Rose I can't think of anyone else on their roster that is worth having. Chicago needed Bosh unless Lebron would want to play with a guy like Boo$er again.

How does Chicago have a better cast? The had a shot at obtaining a better cast - if they were able to add Bosh. Right now they have Noah - who is basically Varejao, but maybe a tick better; They also have Rose - a ball dominating PG whose game may not even be a good fit for James. They have ZERO outside shooters - which is not just essential to open up the lane for James, but to win pretty much anywhere in the NBA these days. They'll have room to add another FA, but with Joe Johnson, Amar'e Stoudemire, Dwayne Wade & Chris Bosh all off the market, who can Chicago add along with James to give them a better roster than Cleveland?

Set LBJ to the side for the minute, because we're talking about who has the more attractive roster in his eyes:

- Rose is light years better than anyone besides James on the Cavs' roster. He's the PG that LeBron has always needed since he's been in Cleveland. It's no accident that there's a lot of talk that a PG like Paul could really help the Cavs' chances of landing LBJ.

- Noah > Varejao

- Deng > anyone the Cavs have at his position

As for outside shooting, I think you're putting way too much stock into a bunch of middling guards like Williams, Parker and Moon.

I hope LBJ sees things as you do, because if he does, IMO he'll be back in Cleveland.

I think Wade, Bosh, and Lebron in Miami would be a cluster. They would be good, but I also think they would be at each others throats when it comes down to crunch time and they can't figure out who gets the ball. If Lebron wants to be Jordan he needs to be the man with a bunch of good to great roll players around him.

You're high if you look at the rosters of Chicago & Cleveland (minus Lebron) and think Cleveland somehow has the better roster in any aspect.

For spite sake... I want Bosh to go to Miami... and Wade to decide to go to Chicago... LBJ stays put.. and so does Shaq... don't pinch me yet... I'm enjoying this dream

DWade isn't going anywhere if Bosh goes to Miami--DWade is smart enough to realize that he isn't good enough to win an NBA title on his own. He won one before because of Shaq, and look at what he's done since then--zilch.

Cleveland has better shooters, which fits Lebron's game better. Not saying that Cleveland sans Lebron is a better team. Just possibly a better fit.

Conversely... take out Rose... and I like Cavs roster... AV = Noah .. no one else on Bulls stands out... not sure JJ isn't equal to or will be equal to Deng... you can find Brad Millers on Amazon.com
