For some reason, I'm less angry about it than I've been before. I've gotten used to the idea that he's gone.

I knew he was gone, its no surprise

its how hes going about it

hes an attention whore plain and simple

the Brett Favre of the NBA

nobody NEEDs an hour long show on ESPN to announce where they are signing, if this is not attention whoring, I dont know what is

Broussard is a clown. All these guys are clowns. This smacks of an enormous buildup just to pull a swerve and stay in Cleveland. Look at the whole picture. He preaches "loyalty" and says how important his hometown is to him. He holds camps there. Still lives there. The cavs can offer him moremoney than anybody else. Now he's going to turn his back on that and basically become Art Modell v2.0? Doesn't add up to me. I could very well be wrong, but something is fishy here. Nobody knows what Bosh is doing either no matter how loud they scream. Nobody, aside from the Cavs can offer Toronto anything worth their while in a S&T either. Bosh could well be talking about signing with Houston.

What the hell happened from this morning? Everything I read then was "Lebron is staying". Now everybody is pissed off and saying take a hike?
I don't think much actually changed, some folks are just bracing for the worst.

For the record, if you can't tell, I think he's staying in Cleveland. But, frankly, if he does go elsewhere, it won't bother me that much. An hour long show to announce where you're going? That is some self important bullshit no matter what he decides. Like Bucklion said, could you ever imagine Bird or Magic pulling that? My opinion of the NBA is so low right now that it's about on par with pro rasslin'. It's the ultimate all style, no substance sport. Would I be thrilled if he came back as a lifelong Cavs fan? Yeah. But I won't shed a tear if he goes elsewhere. It's going to be hard to hold my interest either way.

I can understand why some people are turned off by the amount of time that this has taken and to a lesser degree why some are disappointed that LBJ didn't sign immediately.

What I don't understand is, why the 'LeBrick' and primadonna comments? What has LBJ that warrants the slams? I have heard a few NBA legends via interviews that have commented on the class and maturity in which LBJ has handled himself (prior to free agency and during). Why is it a bad thing for him to test the waters? Does every player that tests the FA waters then become hated? If he comes back to CLE, will you guys root for another team?

As for the TV special, I can't believe there wasn't an entire ESPN series that was made over the course of the last few weeks; it's all about money to the networks. If I was a TV executive I would do everything I could to get a one hour special with him telling where he was going. That will pull fantastic ratings. If all the money goes to a charity, all the better.

Did Lebron request to have an hour-long show on ESPN?

Lebron has been pretty low-key about this whole ordeal. Unless he actually made this hour-long special.
