most of the bandwagoners already left months ago...and any hanger-oners probably wont watch anymore games...but the true fans will be around talking about who we can trade off the team for draft picks...i am one of them
I've loved the Cavs since 1985. I've been a diehard through thick and thin, but the state of the game has driven me away. The fucknuts left on the roster's behavior validated my decision last night IMO. Have some fucking team/city pride you fucking schmucks. Fuck those guys, fuck David Stern, fuck the nba.

It's not just the Cavs, it's the entire nba. There's no pride anymore, everybody wants to be buddies. The league has been in serious decline since the 2003 draft class was injected in like a poison. It's a fraud. It's not a sport anymore, it's entertainment (to some) on the same level as the WWF. I hope there's a lockout next year and the league suffers like mlb did in the 90's as a result. It needs an enema.

Don't drag Darko into this.

there is going to be a lockout next year, and it will be perpetuated by the behavior of the superfriends and this new trend of packing rosters with superstars.

dan gilbert had the best quote on the matter when he said that some people want to go to heaven, but don't want to die to get there. that describes all of these fags from that draft class. none of them has really done jack shit. and spare me the wade won a championship line. he won it with shaq, who is the anti-superfriend in every way, and even then, it took what turned out to be the biggest professional sports hack job in recent memory, which was nothing more than david stern saying "fuck you" to mark cuban for having the audacity to call out stern's WWE antics.

look at the nba champs the last 10 years. start with the lakers 3-peat. then you had the alternating spurs and pistons, with the heat outlier in the middle, followed by the celtics and lakers.

all of those teams consisted of players that are the anti-superfriends. they were stone cold killers in the playoffs. there was no dancing, powder throwing, and buddy-buddy chit chat. that's why clowns like bosh, and lebron, and carmello will never put on a ring until they either change their mindsets, or become surrounded with a cast of talented guys that are their polar opposites.

so when there is a lockout, a hard cap instituted, and the elimination of the mle and bae, and the heat are left totally fucked, I will laugh my ass off.

ok so this thread is dead until playoffs..........

No chance. There are too many of us who are all to willing to point and laugh at his worthless ass when the Heat keep losing to teams with any type of inside presence or who isn't interesting in just "being friends"....

This.

I was born in 84 and wasn't blessed with growing up and watching 80s basketball. However, I was blessed to watch the 90s. NBA on NBC was the greatest thing since sliced bread. I didn't watch cartoons, I lived until Sunday to watch the triple headers. Not sorry ass teams but the Knicks/Bulls, followed by Jazz/Rockets, and cap it off with the Sonics/Suns. All these teams had players and weren't garbage teams. Not to mention you saw these teams go after each other like no other and would see some hard clean fouls. This league got soft somewhere and it's bullshit some of the technical/flagrant fouls that are called.

I told some people about Lebron and how he wouldn't win a championship with the Cavs. He doesn't have that killer instinct when it matters and always makes excuses. He may win one in Miami. It won't be him leading that team, I can guarantee that.

I used to hate Kobe. I have grown to respect him. He may be buddies with Wade, Lebron, and Carmelo off the court......on the court he wants to kill/humiliate them. I think Wade used to have the attitude. Lebron and Bosh will probably make him soft. Bosh is so soft it's funny. "Coach wants to work, we just want to chill." GTFO

I don't know where to start with this one...

LeBron empathizes with Favre's exit

MILWAUKEE (AP) -- LeBron James believes the Cleveland Cavaliers can learn a lesson from the Green Bay Packers.
The Heat forward was asked before Miami played the Bucks on Monday night if he could relate to Brett Favre's bitter departure from Wisconsin three seasons ago.
"Brett (had) great years here in Green Bay, and any time a great competitor like that leaves, no one wants to see that, but they've done a great job of regrouping with Aaron Rodgers and I believe that Cleveland will do the same," James said.

Such a bitch!! That's Dilfer's JOB. He's paid to analyze the game. Him being better or worse as an athlete is irrelevant. I can still tell when YOU suck LeBron, doesn't mean I can put up 30 points a game; it also doesn't mean I'll ever be as big of a bitch as you.

If he had a problem with Dilfer he should say "I don't think he's very good at his job," it's not like what he was saying was wrong. LeBron just thinks that no one should be able to critique anyone who they aren't as good of an athlete as. Maybe no one should be able to praise you either LeBron. You'd be no one then.

One fucking stupid comment after another. Who's surprised??

80's NBA and NCAA were at their absolute zenith. It was glorious.
