Lebron James (Los Angeles Lakers)

Spoelstra is in over his head.... I know its early yada yada but he is. Bosh is not that good and they really are an injury away from not being that good of a team. Heat fans got a taste of Lebron waiting till the 3rd quarter to start playing. Wade looked like he didnt know his roll. My thought is this is Lebron's team Wade doesnt realize it yet and it could be rocky for a while.

I agree. IMO, he's already in over his head when it comes to Xs and Os, and he's REALLY in over his head when it comes to managing the egos of three players who think they're superstars. The fallout will be fun to watch.

Too early to sound the victory bell folks. A couple of things are clear though:

1. The Heat are now LeQuit's team. And yes, it is funny that they now have to deal with his erratic free throw shooting and turnovers.

2. LeQuit either has to learn to play off the ball or Wade will have to learn. Neither one is capable right now and that will be the key to their success.

3. I don't want to hear the chemistry complaints. These 3 played in the Olympics together; they had all summer to work on the potential problems. If there's no chemistry, there may never be any.

4. Mike Miller will solve a lot of their problems. The Cavs were a team built with outside shooting because Ferry knew that the 3-point threat was the only thing keeping the defense from collapsing on LeQuit when he drove. The Heat now have two guys that can drive, but can't spot-up shoot. So they need that guy to get healthy.

The Heat will dominate lesser teams and struggle against the big dogs that have size in the middle. If their problems are worked out by the All Star break (after Miller gets back), they are in for a rough road ahead. They may be better off if Wade just gets hurt b/c he really just gets in LeQuit's way when he's doing his thing.

Either way, I liked what I saw last night from the Heat. Keep it up.

Box & 1.

Put a man on Miller (he can't really create his own shot) and collapse the other four guys. Or actually, just collapse them on Wade and Bitchmade, since RuPaul and whatever other turd they have on the court aren't going to beat you either.

"How the hell did they defend you guys with LeBacle, Wade AND Bosh all on the same team?"

Miller: Oh, they just did a box & 1 on me and we couldn't do anything.

I wonder what will happen if this Miami team doesn't do deep into the playoffs?

I can almost hear the "conspiracy" cries against the self-dubbed 'Big Three' now and the [censored]ing pity-party that I'm sure is to happen.

If there's any conspiracy out of Stern's office, it will undoubtedly be to get these guys to the final...not scew them over. Hell, I'll be surprised if there isn't one. The NBA is already just one step above the WWE. The only question is how big is the step.

Rooting for or against these clowns is the only things that's made the league relevant since Jordan left the Bulls.
