Lebron James (Los Angeles Lakers)

It didn't and I'm not saying it did. But Kobe quit because he was being a punk ass bitch. It's nice of you to clean it up for him, but he's a selfish little [censored], too....just in a different way.

I can agree with that. And I would say what LeQuit did was even worse.

no. he quit once to prove a point, and then kept winning titles.

when Wade & friends win their first title, does that mean Lebron didn't quit in Cleveland?

Did Kobe quit and then pack his bags out of LA, or did he stick around and bring multiple titles (again, sans Shaq) to LA? One guy quit in one game, the other guy quit on a franchise. For someone to try to equate the two, as Mike did, is laughable.

the difference is one franchise got the message, the other sat around for 5 years and did nothing

..what?

You surely aren't referring to the Cavs as the team that did nothing. They had a deal for Bosh in place in the offseason. They made some fantastic trades while Lebron was here. They did plenty. I'd actually be willing to go as far as saying they did as much as they could.

And we've done it. The most ridiculous statement in this thread. Congratulations.

I've been saying that they did too much to make this Asshat happy - got too desperate - and now we're left with a roster that was built to compliment a guy that's no longer there.

nobody seems to hate Big Z for jumping ship

Yeah, and there's a reason for that. Show me where Big Z strung the franchise along, or where he left like a child would leave. He left at the end of his career to pursue a ring. He literally did everything he could for Cleveland. He took the exact opposite route that Lebron took. Lebron has a lot to learn from Z.

I'm not sure how you even think that's remotely the same.

two guys leave to chase rings. one does it immaturely, one does it quietly. they still both left and theres nothing wrong with it.

Lebron had a right to leave. That's not what caused all the backlash.

He's hated by people outside of Ohio. He pulled a lot of bullshit. Stop trying to make it sound like he just left and that was it. A lot more to it.

Yessir, but I would have eventually had to recognize that my issues were irrational. LeQuit instead gave us legitimate reasons to be pissed off. I'd rather he just said "thank you," and went on his way. I might have been over it by 2011. Now, he just keeps piling on the stupidity - giving me cause in perpetuity to hate him and wish harm upon him.
