Tressel says if LeBron shows he will be welcome

Ohio State coach Jim Tressel said today he would have no problem with LeBron James, whom OSU quarterback Terrelle Pryor considers a friend and a mentor, showing up for the No.2 Buckeyes? key intersectional clash with No.12 Miami on Saturday.
James drew the ire of many a Cleveland Cavaliers fan in June when he decided to leave for the Miami Heat. But James, an OSU fan and even a former high school wide receiver from Akron whom Tressel tried to recruit (?I think he committed to me back when he was a junior,? Tressel quipped), would be welcome in Ohio Stadium as far as Tressel was concerned.
?Sore subjects usually pass, because things are as they are, we all make decisions, we have to respect one another?s decisions and move on,? Tressel said. ?Am I surprised that it?s discussed? No, because the guy is special.?
But if James showed up and was granted access to the sideline, such as he was for the Penn State game two years ago, would Tressel view that as a distraction?
?There?s going to be a lot of distractions,? Tressel said. ?If we can?t handle distractions, one more not?s going to make any difference.?
