Lebron James (Los Angeles Lakers)

Yeah, I'm sure people from Miami really look up to people from Akron, Lebron. :roll2: Talk about fishing. I'd have worlds more respect for the guy if he just manned up and said, "Look, I'm young and Miami's a much better party scene than Cleveland. Oh, and I won't have to work as hard to get a title in Miami either. And those things I said about not leaving Cleveland and wanting to give Cleveland a title, well, I was just saying what I knew people wanted to hear and would make me look good."

Wow, cannot remember the last time I've seen an interview spout more self-righteous garbage than that. The level of respect I have for that guy has plummeted more in the days following "The Decision" because of Statements like the ones he makes in there.

yeah, it's probably about time he just shut's it for awhile.

To hell with that! As a newly minted LeBron Hater, I say keep it coming! He's making it so easy we don't even have to go to the Delonte-banged-your-mom stuff.

...But we will anyway. :tongue2: Seriously, 'Bron. Fuck you.

I just watched ESPN for the first time since "the decision" last night now that they moved on to football. It is hell finding something other than SC to watch from 6-7, but I managed for over a month. If TBS would put on Office rereuns rather than shitty King of Queens I would be good. Who the hell wants to watch King of Queens for an hour every afternoon? Office and Family Guy is all they need.

I was off ESPN even before The Decision - except for soccer and a couple classic games they've replayed lately. I can't see myself going back for anything else until live football starts. I have no need for their TMZ imitations or coverage of Little League Cup Stacking or whatever it is they show these days.

In the meantime, my DVR is set to record any reruns of The Office, House and Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations. Between those three, there's always plenty of quality to get me past whatever garbage is on from 6-7.

For those that have always maintained that he seems like an intelligent guy, I beg to differ. These interviews are the product of somebody so utterly lacking in any intelligent perspective or world view outside of his own little self-created bubble as to be almost clinical. Someone with even a modicum of basic intelligence would know better than to say this stuff.

LePippen's on-court IQ may be off the charts, but he's hardly splitting atoms off it.
