Lebron James (Los Angeles Lakers)

Where was this outrage for the last 4 years then? Cleveland fans should have been raking him over the coals like this for years.

Probably not trying to [censored] off the prima donna with the fragile ego, for fear that they'd make his decision to leave all that much easier. Is everything really so mutually exclusive to you?

The state of Ohio didn't make him what he is today.

As for the rest of this post...it's a little over the top and really doesn't require comment. James' real curse was being drafted by his hometown team which caused him to be held to a higher standard.

I disagree. Hometown kid, drafted right out of high school to the pros to a team that was willing to do anything it took to help him be great. Ohio did worship him, for more than just being talented. Milwaukee drafts him and he isn't who we know today.

I don't think what I said was over the top. He is an ass. Read how Bill Simmons put it: Bill Simmons: The All-LeBron sound-off - ESPN

And put an end to the bullshit argument that he had it bad in Cleveland and they didn't do what it took to win. They had the best record the past two years. They manhandled the Lakers this year. They were the favorites to win it all virtually everywhere. What did we not take in to consideration? LeBron had one foot out the door. What a fucking joke that anybody would have an ounce of respect for a player that blew it for a team in the playoffs, that didn't have his heart in it, because he wanted to hang out on the beach with tweedle-dee and tweedle-dum.

Hindsight allows us to see it for what it was rather than what we hoped it would be.

Anyone who that thinks that LBJ would throw playoff games has there head so far up there ass it isn't even funny. Why would he bust his ass for an 82 game season to get the best record in the league if he was just going to tank it in the playoffs. He would have just mailed in the season and saved the wear and tear on his body

if he had stayed in cleveland, would Gilbert still had the balls to accuse him of tanking the playoffs? doubt it, so i doubt he tanked anything. and why would anyone want him in cleveland after that last playoff series. if it was so obvious that he was tanking now, why wasn't it brought up then while there was still a chance he'd sign with cleveland? that's just silly.

Did you watch the playoffs or hear any of the talk about it after LeBron's disgraceful performance? As has been mentioned, clearly Gilbert and the Cavs organization were guilty of treating LeBron with kid gloves in the hopes of not alienating him. At the time, considering LeBron seemed to be genuinely considering re-signing with the Cavs, his Game 5 performance could be chalked up to moping about Delonte screwing Gloria, but in retrospect now it seems more like his mind was made up about moving and he checked out then and there.

They won 126 games the past two seasons. They breezed through the first two rounds of the playoffs in '09 and were up 2-1 on the Celtics after blowing them out by 30 on their homecourt. Talent wasn't the issue no matter how much the he who shan't be named defenders or misinformed want it to be.

Once again Stoudemire. :shake: Phoenix wasn't trading him last year.

Arizona sports radio says the Suns would have dealt Amare to Cleveland if the Cavs would have included Hickson and they wouldn't.
