Tommy looked like AJ Hawk reincarnated out there last night. Flying around the field, disrupting plays, harassing the QB. That's a lofty standard to shoot for, but he's off to a very good start.

I was looking to compare him today after watching the game again and another #35 comes to mind, Matt Wilhelm. I can't put him in Hawks shoes yet because of the pass defense most likely but Wilhelm was damn good and Tommy is becoming that himself. It's amazing the difference a scheme can make for some players.

Wow...just wow. Safe to say Tommy has come around quite a bit from when he first hit the field (as mentioned above, much of that might have been scheme). So happy to see his success, I really thought when he committed Tommy would thrive here. Him and Chambers seem like a damn good duo at LB, with Simon and some others coming in on the occasion. But if Eichenberg keeps this up, or a version close of what he has looked like the last two games, he is going to have himself a tree in Buckeye Grove.

There's 10 other really good players starting for the defense; but, so far (after only 4 games) he's definitely the MVP on the defense.
