You know what? Chicken butt.
Funny, I noticed the exact same thing about Mike. Seems much more patient now.

Wasn't that the same thing with RDS early this past year? Can't wait for Spring practice to start.wadc45;2288219; said:Biggest upgrade I've seen in Mike's game over the last year is he seems to have so much less wasted motion. Watching film from last year Mike would make plays all over the field but there seemed to be a lot of energy wasted because of technique that needed improvement. Now he runs so much more compact yet still flies around to the football.
Mike Mitchell of Prestonwood Christian High School in Plano Texas is the nation's No. 2 ranked middle linebacker. He announced his commitment to Ohio State on Saturday at the Army All-America Bowl.
Mitchell had a strong week of practice at the Army Bowl and was probably looking forward to playing against a higher level of competition than what he faced week in and week out at Prestonwood Christian.
While his level of competition in high school may have been questionable, there was no questioning Mitchell's ability to dominate it. At 6'3 and 220 pounds with a 4.4 forty, Mitchell is one of the most physically gifted players in the nation. He doesn't play down to his level of competition, he dominates it.

One of the Cal RB's long TDs was because a DB tried to blast him instead of wrapping up...same with Hairlice's TD run in The Game where two defenders failed to wrap up simultaneuously. Those are just two instances that I can think off right off the bat...

UpNorth_Buckeye;2288389; said:Yea that was just awkward, hitting each side of him at the EXACT same time. I don't chalk that one up to poor tackling.
If by neither, you mean Travis Howard had both arms around Robinson, only to be stiff-armed by Bryant's latest killshot whiff, then yes... NEITHER did.MililaniBuckeye;2288419; said:If one of them had wrapped up, Hairlice was down. Watch the replay if you have the game recorded...both tried to blow him up and neither even made an attempt to grab him.
