Even though he hasn't publicly said so, it is fairly common knowledge that Youngstown (Ohio) Cardinal Mooney defensive lineman John Simon has a verbal scholarship offer from the Buckeyes. Simon will almost certainly soon receive a written offer from Ohio State and probably a number of others. He will also likely soon attend a Buckeye home game.
