LB Freddie Lenix (Cincinnati signee; transfer to Notre Dame College)

This kid is the most underrated player in the state and maybe the whole country. Forget stars and forget rankings this kid maybe the 100M state champ in DIV 1 IN TRACK AND FIELD. The combination of his size and speed are very rare. This kid may be toting the rock a little next year. This kid IMO should be a 5* recruit...hes gonna be a stud.

I think the 3rd guy in that track picture is of Jamario O'Neal, not Freddie Lennix. According to my notes, Ted Ginn is 6'0", where as Freddie is at best 5'11", so Freddie would have to be standing on a 6 inch tall box to look that much taller than Teddy. I thought the guy's face looked like Jamario's when I first saw it. I remember that Jam was on the track team last year too. Putting 2 and 2 together there.

The confusion comes from a lazy worker at ESPiN, surprise surprise. Here is a picture of Freddie Lenix from rivals:

To a lazy observer, there are similarities, but this wasn't just a tiny slipup. If I remember correctly, I think Jamario appeared on the front page of ESPiN's recruiting page.

The picture posted right before this one was stated to be O'Neal. It seems pretty clear that it is Lenix (look at the eyes).

Actually, when you put the two pictures adjacent to each other, they really don't look all that much alike...Jammo has noticeably larger facial features across the board (wider eyes, bigger nose, lips, and chin) despite their faces otherwise being the same height and width.

My observations are like this. Freddie looks a bit "nicer" than Jamario, and probably is. I've seen TV interviews with Freddie in regards to the problems with $$ in the Cleveland Schools, he seems very sincere, polite, and very articulate.

Although I've never heard Jamario speak, I have to go on looks alone. I can't believe that this kid is only 18 years old. He looks to be at least 25, and a real bad-ass at that. Freddie may be a bit more versatile than Jamario in what his contributions to this team might be, but I'll tell you what. I've been watching this game for many years, and have NEVER seen a High School kid that can bring the "wood" like Jamario. He's gonna make receivers think real hard about whats gonna happen to them when (if) they catch the ball in his area. He's a 5-Star stud who will some day be a Top-5 NFL pick. Bank.
