LB Etienne Sabino (official thread)

Very true, but I forgot about him, because the coaches forgot to put him in the game against Wisky...:tongue2:

Not sure if you're joking about the staff "forgetting" about putting Williams in, but they didn't "forget"...

Yup. I rarely notice a player being such a playmaker on special teams (not including returners), but Sabino has caught my eye. I'd like to see him get more time out there with the defense.

But, I'm not a coach and I was very satisfied with our defense today.

Certain other guys on this board would know more than me, but he has been practicing mostly at MLB (Mike), though he has also seen time at one of the outside LB positions as well(I think Will). I think they really like him inside, though Spitler will bring Senior leadership and he also plays MLB. I have heard rumors though that Sabino has already passed him over on the depth chart.

I think that Sabino has the speed, size and talent to play any of the LB positions though. No way do I see him not starting next year.

From my personal experience, dude looks like he's been playing college ball for a few years. He's HUGE. I'd also be surprised to see him not starting next year, but my guess is he'll play Mike because of his size and speed that can fill holes
