My bad then, comes at a pretty coincidental time that Bank was sending out some updates.

No worries...and as you can see the BPRT is not too worried...this whole blowing smoke and trying to make a spectacle of their announcement thing has gotten so out of control that you really can't believe anything you hear down in San Antonio.

Thanks wadc. Apparently many of the Shariff Floyd cliff jumper didn't get that memo.

Yea... exactly. As a matter of fact in the past the smoke has blown our way, and in the end it rarely worked out for us. This time the smoke is blowing the other way...so what happens this time?

You can't really believe any of the crap coming out during this time because many times its simply not true.

FWIW, the most reliable FL sources are not nearly as confident in pulling Floyd as are the rest of the UF nation posters.

But as far as Latwan, I'm not sure what Bank or whomever has posted (if someone has a link?), but I can just relay what I was told. It's still very iffy if he will even announce Saturday, even if he does it's far from over. There's more to it that I don't think needs to be out there yet but I'm sure the over the course of the next few months that all of it will come out.

If he wanted to pick OSU on Saturday, would our staff accept the verbal?

Honestly, I don't have an answer to that. I'm sure one of the other guys on here would have a better idea on that. My estimation would be yes, though.

All signs point to, if he does announce on Saturday, WVU. It's important to note that regardless of what he does Saturday, this is going down to NSD. When that dust settles, I see him in S&G. Just a few things that need to be worked out and a few people that need to be cooled down.

* Another sidenote, WVU (more specifically Coach Stewart) typically have their recruits attend all their OV's before giving a verbal to WVU, but waved that for Latwan. They're pushing for him to announce Saturday, but if he announced for OSU they'd feel it was pretty much over.

No not really remember last year we had the #1 recruiting class on rivals.com!

ZING!

That doesn't matter.

The success of OSU depends on whether or not we get commitments from Sharrif Floyd and LaTwan Anderson.

And we aren't going to get either of them. :(

In all seriousness.. Glenville.

Back to LaTwan...

I'm sure most by now have heard the news out of San Antonio is that LaTwan is likely to pick WVU if he decides to announce this weekend (although this article from the UNC Scout site says he still plans to visit UNC on 1/22 if "they let" him and possibly Miami on 1/15).

Let me just say this...if LaTwan pulls the trigger for WVU this weekend over reported offers from OSU, Miami (FL), Georgia, Tennessee, etc. and you can convince me the decision had nothing to do with grades, I'll eat my keyboard.

Ditto!!!! Reminds me of Major Wright a few years back. Liked OSU but still had work to do between signing day and graduation. Chose a bird in the hand than one in the bush. No way he gets into UNC or Miami IMHO for the same reasons academically.

Also worth noting LaTwan is not your "typical" Glenville recruit. He only transferred there before his Senior season. All in all, disappointing if this doesn't go tOSU's way, but there seems to be something going on beneath the surface here.
