LaTwan Anderson (official thread)

Andre Sturdivant and he is a D1 prospect.

McVey wasn't hurt. He played(unless he got hurt in the 4th quarter). He made a few nice plays but it was obvious that the Iggy defense was just overmatched in the trenches. Not to mention with all the turnovers they were on the field ALOT. Glenville's line is massive across the board and outweighed the Wildcats by a large margin. I think McVey was banged up cause he didn't quite look 100% but at times it was like he was playing 1v11.
McVey got hurt and didn't return in the 2nd or 3rd quarter.

Latwan Anderson, a transfer from Lakewood St. Edward, has been a major addition at Cleveland Glenville as it seeks Ohio?s Division I state championship. The Tarblooders (12-1) will play Massillon Washington Saturday in the state semifinals.

Anderson, a 5-10, 190-pound senior, may be Glenville?s most versatile player as a wide receiver, defensive back and kick returner. He has carried 23 times for 197 yards, made 11 catches for 157 yards, returned eight punts for 146 yards and five kickoffs for 160 yards for a total of five touchdowns.

He also has made 11 interceptions ? returning three for touchdowns ? 24 solo and 29 assisted tackles, caused three fumbles and recovered six. In addition, he has scored three times on punt returns and twice on kickoff returns.

Defensive coordinator Robert Andrews says that Anderson is a big hitter.

"He comes with such an impact," Andrews said. "He gets good leverage on the ball and it pops out.?

Anderson has visited Michigan State and also has West Virginia, Ohio State, Michigan and North Carolina in future plans.

Tarblooders make history on way to state final

. . .
The unranked Tigers (10-4) tied the game at 17-17 on the opening possession of the second half, covering 74 yards in a 13-play drive that was aided by two Glenville penalties.

The first being a pass interference call on senior Latwan Anderson, which gave the Tigers a first-and-10 on the Tarblooders' 32-yard line.

Rumors and Wires: Week of December 7, 2009

Latwan Anderson and teammate Christian Bryant of Glenville H.S. (Cleveland) will make their way to Ohio St. for an official visit this weekend. Expect a serious squeeze on both prospects for a commitment while they are there. An announcement by one or both of these recruits would not be a total shock. Anderson is past his proposed date for a decision and with the season finally over, there may be the thought of getting recruiting out of the way.
