Thor in HD, streaming on Netflix.

The main character makes the movie. It was a bit out there at first with the strange alternate universe where he lives but it came around nicely to be a fun summer superhero flick.

The 332nd deserved far better than this steaming pile of cliched Hollywood garbage.

Well at least I learned that .50 shells can turn anything into giant fiery explosions; wood framed houses, steam engines, armored ship plating....anything.

Agreed. The prior version of the movie way better (and Cuba Gooding was in that one also).

That film is so underrated to me.

One of Murray's best performances & ScarJo doesn't ruin the poignancy of it all like you might expect.

I actually really enjoyed the movie. Murray's demeanor in the whole movie was awesome, sleep deprived or not.

M.I. Ghost Protocol - an absolute blast. It doesn't top the first (like I've read many places) but it's a great summer action flick. Simon Pegg ("Scottie" from the new Star Trek) really helps make the movie opposite Tom Cruise. Definitely the second best of the 4 (3 was good but sacrificed fun for intensity).

Couples Retreat - caught this on TBS, surprisingly entertaining. The trailers really didn't do it justice at all.

Brotherhood of the Wolf - One of my favorites...A Hawaiian playing a Mohawk busting out the Wushu in 18th century France.

I liked this one. Saw it when it made its round here in the States and thought it was pretty well done. Haven't seen it in upwards of ten years, though.

The other night we watched Taken with Liam Neeson. It was "meh." Man On Fire was basically the same movie but done much better.

Yesterday we saw Brave with the kid. I'd rank it on the lower end of the Pixar scale. It felt like a made-for-TV short that got stretched to 90 minutes. Pretty uninspiring.
