If you are not a fan of 'slow & depressing' when it comes to films you might want to give it a pass.

I didn't hate it BUT it's hard to describe any other way. Dunst is from a wealthy family but suffers from severe clinical depression she is also the irresponsible (ie fun) member of the family. Essentially the movie details how the various family members deal with the impending end of the world.

Since Dunst is already mentally unbalanced & expects the worst she of course ends up handling it better than any of her more 'responsible' family members.

So you should probably add 'rich family interpersonal drama' to the list with 'slow & depressing'.

Today is the 35th anniversary of the release of Star Wars. Six months after its release it was still playing in 1,000 theaters across America.

I remember when that came out, I saw it like 5 times in the theater. Even my parents saw it 2 or 3 times. We saw it once at the drive in too. That was some phenomenon, I haven't seen anything like it since.

I saw MIB 3 last night, loved it, didn't fall asleep.

still feel like a kid when i see a movie poster/clips of star wars...

I can still remember the feeling I had, sitting in the back seat of our old family sedan at the drive-in, watching Star Wars through the windshield of the car with the crappy speaker clipped to the window. I think my jaw was open the whole time, dumbfounded. I was six years old.

heck i still remember going to the movie theater with my uncle and my cousin to see return of the jedi. 1st non cartoon i saw in a theater. Can still picture standing in line to get in.
