Finally made it through Lars Von Trier's "Antichrist". Another one of those films that you end up not knowing whether you like it and consider it visionary or hate it and consider it garbage. I think there was plenty of ammunition for both arguments.

Jean Renoir's "the Rules of the Game". A satire of the French aristocracy on the eve of WWII. An interesting film, but definitely not for everyone. It was booed in the French theaters and banned for a while there, but that's something in its favor.

Just got done watching 'Battleship'.

I about dropped dead when I found out Peter Berg directed this piece of crap.

The whole time I'm watching it, I'm thinking,

"Come on, June 8th....save me, Ridley..."

And I was hoping for Liam Neeson to think he's Brian Mills again and start kicking the entire cast's asses.

I refuse to watch it. I cannot fathom how that could possibly be watchable.

It can't be any worse than Zookeeper, which had far too many ass shots of Kevin James

In the holy name of Milton Bradley why?!

"Come on, June 8th....save me, Ridley..."

My fingers are still crossed for that one too.

Grand Prix on Bluray, with James Garner (1966). The race scenes filmed at Monaco, Spa, etc. make this movie worth it. These were the times when the cars had only mechanical grip and no downforce from wings or ground effects, so these guys really had to drive the cars.
