Is it subtitled and not dubbed? I hate dubbed movies. Obviously as i have family, friends, and an ex from Argentina I am curious to watch this, plus my sci fi fetish.

It is subtitled & also has an alternate English track (which is just as cheezy sounding as 80's anime flicks).

The Help.

Like any book adaption, it leaves out so much, but the acting was terrific, the emotions were palpable and it made you feel every ounce of their shared & varied struggles.

Little Big Soldier. Written by, produced by and starrting Jackie Chan. Takes place in ancient China during the warring state period before the unification. About a soldier who survives a big battle by playing dead, him finding and kidnapping an opposing general that he wants to take back to his homeland and claim the reward. Pretty good flick.

Belle Epoque.

Spanish film. I hate romantic films and this was pretty good. Oh, and it had a young Penelope Cruz when she was just a Spanish actress. 1992 or so. It wasn't dubbed or subtitled but I'm sure there must be a version that is. Good film.

And in Argentina it would make sense, perhaps, to truncate the stars' names. But not when you're advertising in the USA. Just looks odd.

I've seen similar displays on some US films...with the last name very large and the first name still there but tiny enough as to be unnoticeable on first glance.

Nonetheless, though it's not a genre I'd want to see, it will be interesting to see your reviews.

I really like the concept but the film itself is a bit amateurish in a lot of ways. I did enjoy it but could see how others wouldn't be thrilled with it...a lot of the character's actions just don't really make much sense.
