I did my White House tour when I was in 8th grade on our school field trip. I can't remember it very well, it was a long time ago, but I wonder if I met this Butler when I was there as a child. Pretty awesome movie.

Saw 2 movies recently. Mad Max and Pitch Perfect 2. With PP2 technically being my wife's choice, but I actually kind of liked the first and the second was decent. Someone who hasn't seen it may think it's just a lame musical, but it's pretty funny, with many NSFW jokes. Bad enough where if it wouldn't completely go over a kids head, I wouldn't recommend bringing them.

On to Mad Max though.... What a weird movie. I think in a good way though. Probably a little too hyped though. Was expecting 9/10, probably closer to 8/10 for me. But maybe 7/10. Hard too tell. I also hadn't seen the originals and someone said that those are twisted as well. Just a fucking intense balls to the wall movie, especially the last 15 minutes.

Has anyone seen San Andreas? From the trailer in front of Age of Ultron it looked cheesy as hell, but the way some of my friends have described it is making it sound the like the kind of horrible, cheesy action movie that's so bad it's hilarious and worth it. If anyone has been on the Disaster! attraction down here at Universal Studios, my friends have described it as basically the full version of the "film" you "shoot" in the attraction (which also, coincidentally, stars The Rock and is a natural disaster flick). This makes me really want to go see it.

Okay, I like movies that make you think.

Here is a list of recent decent weird flicks I enjoyed:

Coherence: about people discovering their parallel selves.

Predestination: time travel and continuity

Looper: you know it

Moon: Guy working alone on the moon. Great film.

Triangle: looped time again.

Primer: maybe the best film here. Budget of $4000 or something.

Upstream color: just watch it. I can't describe.

This movie genuinely got under my skin. It's one of the best horror movies I've seen.

Would you Rather: this one just pipped up on Netflix. I have to say I was pleasently surprised. Nothing earth shattering, but well made with a decent story. A couple of faces you'll recognize, Bob from The Walking Dead for one, and it was funny to see the father from Home Alone this way. Sasha Grey should have stuck to porn, she can look very goth hot but she is possibly the worst actress in the history of civilization. Still, a 3/5 for me, well worth a watch.

Human Centipede III: yes, the final sequence is in the books...and is possibly the worst movie of all time. No originality like the first, no over-the-top stuff like the second. Poor Eric Roberts, every scene he was like "I can't believe I agreed to do this shit". Tom Six in his narcissism decided to act in this one, making Bree Olsen look like Meryl Streep. 0/5, awful in every conceivable way.

Zombeavers.

Seriously. It's on Netflix.

I am not a huge fan of B or campy movies or anything like that. I've never watched Sharknado or whatever.

But this movie is different. 5 out of 5 stars different. I was dying. It was smart and perfect with amazingly spot on dialogue.

Nobody I have recommended it to has watched it. :(

I hope I wasn't just in a mood that day. . .
