As a long time Spiderman fan, I found the Spiderman films excellent. Especially the first film.

But I have always been less enamored with Batman. Perhaps colored by the Batman/Adam West tv series which was over the top.
But, I feel the Micheal Keaton/Batman films were also very good. Following Batman from his comic book beginning, his films to be authentic to the comic, should be campy somewhat.
The Bale Batman films, although quite good, lost their campiness.

YMMV

The 1st & 2nd Spiderman's were very good movies. Especially the 2nd. The 3rd sucked ass. Considering you're using
one of the most liked villains in the series (Venom) which could have produced an awesome Carnage follow up.

The Keaton/Tim Burton/Gothic Undertone in everything was a fucking abomination. Nolan got it right. Thank god.

Bridesmaids. Pathetic.
Anyone else hate this? I haven't seen it, but the trailers look horrendous.
Run time 125 minutes... 3 of which are funny and only because of Melissa McCarthy

Bad Teacher was the last movie I saw in theaters. Sister and mom forced me to watch Bridesmaids yesterday, thought it was awful
I really should have listened to you guys. Figured I'd waste a Netflix rental

Holy God, fcuking Bridesmaids last night. Without question the most tedious, insipid movie I've ever seen. Absolute waste of two hours of my life. No matter how your significant other begs/threatens, don't do it.

I mean, if you're going to put guys through having to go see a movie like this one, at least have the decency to get semi-hot actresses. But, NO, no we're going to cast two Saturday Night Live hags in the main roles and make you watch them whine and moan for two hours... damnit, I'm still pissed off about this one...

That's a bit of an exaggeration, no?

My expectations of the movie didn't change from the first trailer I saw to when I entered the theater. They were very, very low. But for a chick-flick disguised as a comedy it wasn't too awful. There were some memorably funny moments, but I think it kind of suffered from trying to hard to have a point about halfway through.

It's not a movie I would avoid like the plague, but I wouldn't intentionally see it again either.
No, it's not. It's pure torture. At least SNL has commercial breaks inbetween the torture.

As for the rest of you:

I actually thought it wasn't bad for a wife's pick. Not great, by any means, but had some laughs and worth a buck at the redbox.

Bridesmaids

Pretty funny stuff, there is a slight chick story added in, but plenty of laughs.
