Greatest movie I have ever seen.

Saw it yesterday on the Marcus UltraScreen, certainly one of the greatest movie-watching experiences I've had. My dad and I were practically shaking from the adrenaline on the way out of the theatre. Christopher Nolan is really good at his job.

The Dark Knight Rises.........thought it was a good closer to the trilogy, but I didn't think it was as good as The Dark Knight.

Bane was badass, but I trouble understanding his voice a couple times.

Also, they made it out as if Gordon never knew that Wayne was Batman. I just watched TDK the other day in preparation for TDKR, and in the scene where Wayne puts his Lamborghini in the way of an SUV to protect the guy everyone wanted to kill, I thought it was implied in Gordon's comments to Wayne that he knew. I guess I was wrong.

Liked it better than Batman Begins, but it's still second to me.

TDKR in IMAX.

Loved it. I was really impressed with Anne Hathaway. Thought she owned the screen every time she was on it.. her body language when she takes Batman to the first little scuffle in the sewers was fantastic. And she's hot as fuck. :)

Loved the last 10 minutes, too. Very fitting end to the trilogy. Leaves it open for others, but closes Nolan's work with Wayne very well.

It's amazing how well the trilogy was made. Bravo. Nolan and company have shown what is possible with a retarded studio budget. If only more people could do stuff like that..

What I loved about the Trilogy is that it wasn't a CGI abomination like the Tobey Maguire Spiderman movies turned into. And I concur, Hathaway was really good.

As a long time Spiderman fan, I found the Spiderman films excellent. Especially the first film.

But I have always been less enamored with Batman. Perhaps colored by the Batman/Adam West tv series which was over the top.
But, I feel the Micheal Keaton/Batman films were also very good. Following Batman from his comic book beginning, his films to be authentic to the comic, should be campy somewhat.
The Bale Batman films, although quite good, lost their campiness.

YMMV

The original gun toting Batman in the 30's, Batman: The Animated Series, Frank Miller's Batman (The Dark Knight Returns)

'Campy' Batman has never been the rule.

I liked the storylines of the Spidey's, I just felt by the end of the trilogy I was watching a cartoon

The third film was absolutely horrible. Plot, characters and even the acting was sub-par for the series. They pretty much just went through the motions with that piece of crap.
