Was relatively good for an "indie" movie, did a decent job keeping you from realizing they did this all on a consumer camera for $9k. A bit too "chick-flicky" for my tastes, but the wife enjoyed it.

3/5

Personally, thought it was fan-fucking-tastic. No pun intended.

Friend dragged me to the theater to see it, ended up really enjoying it. Although

*SPOILER*

During the infamous rape scene, I noticed that a father had brought his 9-10 year old daughter in. Call me old fashioned, but that seemed a little...careless. Didn't even go for the obligatory covering of the eyes.

Sounds to me like some great parenting.

Watching "Category 7: End of the World" on the sci-fy channel.

Ummm...it's very long. The Statue of Liberty was destroyed along with Mt. Rushmore and the Pyramids. And Washington DC is next I think.

"This storm isn't going to be a category 6, it's going to be a category 7!" Holy Shit look out!!

Considering my extremely low expectations for this movie, I will give it 5 stars. My expectations have been met...:p

12 Angry Men: Sometimes the older films are overrated, but not this one...Academy Award Worthy and 5/5 stars, which I don't give very often.

If this is the "jury" movie that I'm thinking about, it's one of the greatest cinematic inquires into the human mind that I've ever seen.

Our Idiot Brother:

meh. not the worst film ever, but not the best. I give it a 15 minute on the DubCoffman scale.

I thought it was pretty funny. The conflict in the movie escalated WAY too quickly for a lot of people/critics to even give it a chance.

Oh and  at the people complaining about the sound in Jack & Jill. No, that isn't the problem... The problem is you just wasted 3 dollars on another horrible movie by Adam Sandler. His early movies were awesome, and funny... Now they are just getting dull and played out.

It had some funny bits (Idiot Brother). I wanted more Elizabeth Banks in tight skirts though. She's hot

Contraband. Basically dragged into the theater in chains kicking and screaming, but it turned out to be pretty decent.

Funniest part of the movie: When I turned to The Next Mrs. Rugby about twenty-five minutes in and said, "This is supposed to be in New Orleans? I thought it was set in Boston like all of Marky Mark's films". First southern accent (terrible) about twenty-four minutes in.
