Amazingly not all children are exactly alike. My nephews never had a problem behaving when I took them to movies when they were younger. There's lots of youngsters out there that you don't notice...you just notice the loud ones.

As a corollary people with cell phones should be banned from theaters... as should loud talkers....and popcorn crunchers.

I agree that not all children are alike and that I do probably notice the loud ones.I never suggested anyone be banned, it was more a comment about "know your children's limits and respect others regarding them." Which is why I said parents should either not bring them or deal with the issue when it arises. I agree that cell phones are an issue too, if you can't be respectful about it, then don't go a movie. No call is so important, unless someone just died, and then, well, they are still gonna be dead when the movie is over. :tongue2:

Yeah I wasn't pointing at you there, I was just prefacing my own opinion so it didn't seem like I am one of those people that expects "Seven" every time I go to the theater to see a horror flick.

Great news! Even though Rob Zombie has even bowed out, they are already working on a Haloween sequal for next year (H3D)! WOO HOOO!

I think I'll gouge out my eyes with a corkscrew and skullfuck myself before I watch that.

I saw Jaws in the theater.

I was 5.

Yeah, it was PG - and actually HAD a decent storyline with good acting.

Fact is, the R rated movies from yesteryear are far more tone down than the R rating of today's flicks.

With the exception of that grindhouse shit - mindblowing.

Yeah anyone who thinks Hostel was over the top should check out Cannibal Holocaust and see how many minutes you can stomach.

Not really a movie...but what the fuck ever.

Band of Brothers is my favorite thing to have ever been on television that wasn't Buckeye sports.

Just a great piece of art. I could watch the Bastogne episode five hundred times and not get tired of it. Excellent acting, excellent story, Nazis, WWII...just fuckin' awesome.

Best part of the series are the interviews with the real Easy Company soldiers at the beginning of each episode.

Saw Inglorious Basterds the other night........ awesome movie. One of Tarantino's best and Brad Pitt was priceless in it. I'd give it 9/10 and definitely encourage you all to go see it, especially if you are a fan of Tarantino's previous work such as Pulp Fiction and Resevoir Dogs.

I don't think I could choose between Band of Brothers, Deadwood or Rome...luckily I don't have to. :)

Spent from 8AM until roughly 4PM drinking at our alumni tailgate before the game and Hineygate/Out-R-Inn after the game. My punishment? Taking TFD to see this abortion Saturday night while still moderately wasted:

Two days later I still don't get the whole "why is he a time traveler and why does he come back at different ages?" thing...avoid at all costs.
