Lamarcus Joyner (DB New York Jets)

Urban Meyer is a relentless recruiter. Going to be very difficult to beat him head-to-head for an in-state recruit.

We have won head to head with James Scott and Etiene Sabino. Scott was even a late decision. I agree it will be tough, especially with Joyner announcing on NLOID but I think we are just in great shape here.

I think we were more head to head for Berry, than Sabino. I always thought it was us or USC for Sabino

Lamarcus strikes me as a head first heart second kind of kid. While he grew up loving the Noles he always gives the impression that he is going to make the pick that he (and those that are looking out for him) feels is truly the best fit for him. Even though he loves the Noles there is going to be some upheaval in that staff and that doesn't translate well for the team. They've had a rough season this year and a big shake up with the staff isn't going to help things in the future.
