Ky +5.5 vs tOSU (ov/un 137.5) Fri 9:45 ET, CBS

Bad way to end a good season.

Every team has an occasional bad shooting night and we had ours in what was a murderers row just to get out of our region.

I do think there were bad calls a few at important moments but better shot selection and interior play on both ends would have overcome that.

I guess if there is any perspective to be had so soon after the loss it is that this is the nature of sports. Sports is disappointment after disappointment punctuated by rare moments of sheer joy. I consider myself lucky to have witnessed one national championship team and suspect we will see a few more before our excellent coaches are done.

:oh:

I know you guys were worried and all, but I have regained feeling in my hand, and Im happy to say nothing is broken...just in pain

Dude I did that about 2 years ago punching a wall, instead of it going through drywayll, I ended up hitting a stud. I'm pretty sure I shattered the pinky bones in my hand. It still hurts to touch, and it's hard to bend that finger. I learned my lesson after that one

But man if there was no pain in punching stuff, I would have holes everywhere

I say no, way too much money not to man. If anything the NBA labor talks etc will influence his decision more then anything. Seriously the money he is looking at is multi-generational changing if well managed.
if it's anybody else but a buckeye legacy raised in ohio state's shadow, then i would tend not believe what sullinger just said, which is that he's returning.

i won't be surprised if he changes his mind, but i'm leaning toward believing sully.

Can't rewind since I changed over to the other game, but I'm pretty sure Diebs had a few steps of space between him and the nearest UK player. If Craft would have actually looked to his right instead of just going to the left, we might have had a much better look at a final shot.

I think someone would have closed on him fast if he had gotten the ball. Of course we'll never know, but after just having made one, I think all 5 Cats would have been looking for him.

I'm sorry for everyone bitching about a 2 point game.... HOW MANY FT did we miss? i know we missed atleast 3.. it sucks... shit happens. I'm upset too

This as well. They were very inconsistent with the FTs. After Sully hit the first two of the night, everyone missed at least one each time up to the line. You can't do that and win in a close game, at least not very often.

Bucklion, there were 2 UK jerseys on Buford as soon as Craft headed to his left, and the UK players on the right seemed to be cheating heavily to the left while our other three weren't. I have no doubt the right side would have been a better shot.

Hahahahaha nice.

All I know is that I DO NOT want to be the overall number one seed or number two seed next year. Both of our brackets the last two years have been absolute murder.

All along it has been said that Sully was committed to a championship. I know, I know, players flip all the time, but still.

I say, he's back. Despite solid numbers, he really didn't dominate the way he was expected to. I'd like to see him back next season, get even more polished, and win a goddamn championship.

We should've made more free throws.
teams should always make more free throws. we shot a little over our season average, though, so i can't pin the loss on our free throw shooting.

we missed close shots, buford was off, and we were slow guarding the dribble-drive. change any of those and we win.

I'll be dating myself here, but does anyone else think this clown looks like a cross between Eric Meek and Pete Sampras? He's always got that Sampras someone just gave me a lobotomy look to him.

:slappy::slappy::slappy::slappy:thanks for the humor... Might wanna through in a little eric montross to spice things up a little bit

That would be incredible and would be thrilled either way on his decision.

Any change Buford comes back?
