Clean block. Set the tone early. Solid officiating.

teams should always make more free throws. we shot a little over our season average, though, so i can't pin the loss on our free throw shooting.

we missed close shots, buford was off, and we were slow guarding the dribble-drive. change any of those and we win.

I definitely agree. Just deflecting blame away from the refs, because WE are the reason we lost. The game was ours to win. We just didn't do it, they did.

Like I said earlier, we all agree that the officiating was rough. We lost the game because we didn't make enough plays/shots.

EDIT: "We" overload, I feel kind of douchey.

In better news, my chances of winning the BP Yahoo! bracket just improved greatly. And now I don't have to leave work on Sunday to watch basketball!

Totally worth the loss! :bonk:

By the way, [censored] Liggins and Harrelson.

Both those punk ass bitches are what I've always HATED about that goddamn asshole Calipari's teams. Always recruits asshole piece of [Mark May] thug players.

[censored] those pieces of [Mark May], [censored] Calipari, [censored] Kentucky.

And with that...I transition to:

I'm gonna [censored]ing miss Diebler, Dallas, and David. [Mark May]. Thanks for an incredible run, its never going to be the same.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Sully, Craft, Deshaun: Remember how bad this tastes. Come back with a vengence next season. Sully, get angry, get a bit tougher, you WILL be unstoppable.

In regards to the first part of your post, you're not going to win when your players look to officials to call technicals on the opposition for being mean. Craft and Buford both looked to an official at one point in the game to stop Liggins from being a pain in the ass and that was a big part of the game to me.

Again Kentucky wouldn't give an inch and actually took a few, and our guys wilted to a team that wasn't intimidated. It is what it is...

So not to beat a dead horse...but can someone please explain to me why the #1 OVERALL TEAM gets put in the hardest region?

Why doesn't the #1 overall team get rewarded for the regular season play? Makes no sense to me.

Congrats to the 'Cats - they played the perfect game to counter the Bucks, especially when we were shooting a little cold. No shame in losing such a close game.

That being said...

FUUUUUUUUUUCK!!!

Fucking fuck the fucking SEC.

There, I feel better. Sort of. :ohwell:

Kentucky had more fouls and more turnovers yet they won the game.

Why?

Blocked shots: Kentucky 11, Ohio State 1

Shooting: Kentucky 46%, Ohio State 33%

No need to look for excuses. The reasons are right there. :(

Still love my Buckeyes. :osu:
