Kevin Wilson (Former HC Tulsa)

Unfortunately I don't see him staying. I think he and Day were kind of competing undercover for the head man spot. I think he would be a great full time solo OC but I'm not sure.
I don't expect him back. He's a great OC, but I kinda feel like Day will want to bring his own guy, and I expect that he'll remain heavily involved in the offense. I don't see Day as a "CEO type."

Unless Day for some reason doesn't retain him, I expect him back next year. My reasoning:
1. I haven't seen his name on the HC search list yet. May change.
2. I don't see him going to another school as OC. There are 5-6 side steps, everything else is down. Are any of them losing an OC that would open a spot?

I expect him back... he will run the show solo now and he's not getting a head coaching spot right now.

The issues at IU are keeping off the HC lists. In today's environment, i don't know of there's any coming back from that unless you're a proven winner. I think Wilson is an OC from here on out.

Let him run the offense? Yeah, right. I can totally see Day just letting someone else run it.

Day is going to have his hands full. CEO type or not... that's part of being HC at a big program like Ohio State.
You have to be a manager of people 1st and foremost; delegate a lot of responsibility to support staff.
This isnt a MAC school where the Coordinator promoted to HC keeps doing their old job and takes on a few more responsibilities.

Lincoln Riley is still the primary offensive play-caller and quarterbacks coach at Oklahoma on top of being the head coach. I wouldn't say that's hindered his success there.
