Waaaaaaaaaiiiit a minute. Is he saying Tight End eligible? Are we sure that's legal?

I don't know what eligible means as far as tight ends go.....but I had a thought the other day. What if we had bigger guys like LB size, but on offense. Not quite as big as an OLineman, mind you. But here's the wrinkle.......they can catch and run.

Seems like AJ and Farrell are balling out...definitely looking forward to seeing how we utilize the TE group this year with all that talent and a coach who actually believes in using the TE's as a weapon.

Given the pretty damned respectable production he was able to wring out of the talent he had at Indiana, the idea of his offensive vision running with an army of 4 and 5 star kids is awfully tantalizing. Something about a "fully armed and operational Death Star" comes to mind...

The real news here is that Ohio State found 45 seconds worth of TE highlights to make a video, and only one of the highlights was a block.

Let's pump the breaks on this usage of the TE in the passing game business. Spring stud Bam Childress never caught more than 17 passes for 205 yards in a single regular season.

On the other hand, 17 for 205 would still constitute quite a break out season for the TE position, I suppose.

This is so weird, so we are going to use the TE AND the screen pass both? Who would have ever thought of such innovation? I think I have only seen seven thousand four hundred and sixty two posts from members here screaming and shouting to throw the damn ball to the TE and use the screen. Amazing.
