Kareem WaLLker (dismissed from ttun)

Oh what tangled webs we weave.

Did Urban tell him you're either in or out, you have a day to decide?
If so, did he decide to stick with OSU and actually cancel his Michigan trip?
Or is he planning on flipping to Michigan, but doesn't want OSU to know so he is telling them he won't go to Michigan?
And if that's the case, does Sam Webb know that...and he's trying to get misleading info out there to make it seem like he won't be at Michigan?

Recruiting is awesome.

I don't mind the ultimatum if it happened under the guise that Ohio State is looking at other running backs now and we need to know now if IN or OUT. The alternative is getting left holding the bag and losing someone else Ohio State may feel is a good replacement for Walker (i.e. Antonio Williams).

I don't mind any of it. I just know there are games that can be played through twitter accounts of people like Sam Webb.

Hey man, Im not some guy that is typically into figuring out what a 17 year old kid is doing. A buddy of mine sent it to me, sorry if it isn't from a reputable source. lol.
You see, here's the thing about recruiting. There is only one reliable source, and that is the coaches. But they aren't allowed to talk about it. The kids themselves often aren't reliable and obviously recruiting reporters sometimes have a penchant to generate clicks...so i don't know why any link you shared is any better or worse than another. They are all pretty shaky.

Pretty funny. Apparently Coach Alford and Chris Partridge (scUM recruiting coord) took some shots at each other on Twitter over Walker.

Isn't he one of those suspect hires they brought in to get access to a recruit/HS?
Usually it's the one lashing out that's insecure. Whether it's Walker, Williams, or somebody else... Ohio State will be fine. Michigan might not be if they build up all this expectation and then miss.

Walker = Walker
Williams = Williams

Let's not try to jump to conclusions on comparisons, especially since this scenario seems to be very different.

Just meant on how it shakes out since Harris was RB1 in the country last year and OSU had early momentum but never a commit.

I think Kareem could still end up a Buckeye but it will be hard if he decommits. I almost wish he wouldn't have committed and OSU got his last visit in a weird way.

From the linked article:
The process is that I’m making a decision that can impact the rest of my life, so I need to be 1,000 percent on making the right choices. Michigan is a great school, football tradition and I know a couple players there.... I’m going to visit Alabama, Mississippi, Arizona State and Ohio State, but I'm unsure of exact dates, right now.

Coach (Urban) Meyer and coach (Tony) Alford, the running backs coach, knew from the start I was taking all of my visits. Coach Meyer doesn’t have an issue with it. He’s confident these trips will confirm my wanting to attend Ohio State.
